  • I was saying, active... hahaha made a confusion

  • A shame it has passive pickups, witch is not my style =/

  • the only thing that i can hear is your fuckin strings

  • Why do you run everything through such a shitty amp sound?

  • the LTD JH200 has the same sound as this one??

  • @nonmusicman

Nope. The 200 has worse pickups and the body wood is basswood, which gives more of a classic shredder tone.

  • @Madbutcher305 so which guitar would you recommend a B.C Rich Kerry king signature or a jackson warrior...?

  • @nonmusicman

Lower range Jackson Warrior is better than lower range Kerry King Signature, but upper range Kerry King Signature is better than upper range Warrior overall.

  • Ibenz is the best heavy guitar u gan get !!!

  • @JBSslipknot

Ibanez is great, but I personally like esp for heavey metal. for $600 you can get a an esp with EMGs and a floyd rose, when with Ibanez yo can spend the same amount, and get stock ibanez pickups, and the ibanez trem(which is just as good as floyd).

  • personally i reckon if you want a good metel guitar you should get the ltd esp m1000 deluxe

  • @dmometalguitar

Do i have to be in the states if i want to order a custom shop carvin?

  • LTD isn't my thing but Edward's and ESP are more of my thing.

  • @Fakestar0x LTD And ESP are the same stuff!! xD

  • @CrisTiano7M3tAllicA

LTD, Edwards, AND ESP are same brand. :P

  • Have you since made any progress with your Kahler? One thats properly set up should not go out of tune with bends, and shouldn't require all the elaborate methods people have created to solve any tuning issues.

  • that looks like Jeff Haneman's guitar from Slayer

  • @iGotShelz it is.

  • @iGotShelz watch part 1man

  • @iGotShelz It is JH means Jeff Haneman

  • @iGotShelz That's his guitar, hence JH in JH-600

  • This guitar is great i got one used but with the floyd rose which i prefer over the kahler and mine came with gohto tuners which i think stay in tune better than my grovers on my other guitar but this guitar i got for 400 bucks mint has original floyd emg 81 85 alder body maple neck neck thru body ebony fretboard and a thin neck this guitar is a metal machine would reccomend to any rock or metal player this guitar screams metal

  • You should try some of the guitars from Rondo Music :o

  • your parents must get mad at you

  • Thank you a lot for the vid, i like jackson dkmg because i owned one when i was young. but i was thinking about kh-800 too and now this vid show that jh-600 is the best you own. I was a slayer fan i do have 4 slayer guitar picks. i saw then 6 times.

I better like the skull on the neck of kh but for both i dont like the signature, this is why jackson is still in my head, but both esp ntb. I dont know what to do??

  • I have a question. Which guitar is better the ESP Ltd JH-600 or ESP M-II Urban Camo?

  • @hmbwe the guy said he own a m2 and prefer the jh-600, i dont think camo change anything at all!

  • @KoralieMegan

Sorry about my english, y know it sucks.

See the other videos and you will find the answer.

The problem with the ESP is that is extremely expensive, so it suppose to be a Perfect guitar, and it doesnt.

It came with some problems and this guy finds that the korean one has NO errors.

I hope you understand what i said

    :/

  • @oscarolbaid i made my choice and it will be a Jackson again.

  • @KoralieMegan : Perfect, I Love Jacksons !!! Good luck with your choise man

    :)

  • @oscarolbaid jackson made japan or esp made in koree i really did my choice! thanks.

  • Nice shorts

  • 2:00 pls song!))

  • @nfFreeTrader Chances are good he was just making it up as he went haha

  • I would love to know how this guitar would sound if you switch out the emgs to passive seymour duncans

  • I can't seem to locate a JH-600 with an original Floyd Rose on Ebay. Would buying a new one & then putting an original Floyd on it be a bad idea? I've always played old Gibsons and Fenders for blues, southern rock, etc. They work excellent for that, but not for metal. I'm playing metal a lot more now, & your videos have been really useful in trying to figure out what kind of guitar to buy for that. Thanks! Your thoughts?

  • @drtyfknmouth buy a kh-800 same thing with a floyd rose

  • Hi there! Can you show how this guitar handles puul-ups and dive bombs and what not

  • Is Carvin good or the best choice would be to go with a LTD?

  • Nice work there, Crazy Fingers. lol

  • do you have a video of how to set up at least that guitar that low? I have an idea how to low the action ona floating trem, but I think i'm missing a part like, if i have to do any truss rod work besides, working on the trem, and stuff like that

  • I have a question, this guitar looks great, and I was also looking at a ESP LTD KH-602. Do you think it's as good, better, or worse than this JH-600?

    Plz someone reply. Thanks

  • @OMGitsAtreee I just wanted to ask that question too :D I'm searching for a neck thru shred guitar like this one, kh602 or jackson soloist with a budget of 1000 - 1200 euros

  • dude the greatest heavy metal guitar is the gibson explorer

  • @lunardude52 No it isnt you noob. If you're thinking of james hetfield, he uses an ESP explorer because gibson sucks these days and their quality sucks. THIS is the greatest heavy metal guitar, along with the jackson RR1, the schecter hellraiser and the dean VMNT.

    pwned

  • Is there a fixed bridge version?

  • all the LTD's are the best or just that one?... because i want to buy a Jackson KVX10 King V Electric Guitar that cost 500 bucks withouts taxis and i was very decided to buy one, but now that i saw this video i dont know want . but i want a heavy metal guitar could you please help me?

  • whats a good 7 string trem?? and can it be installed on a hard tail guitar, i absoluteely lve my rg7 321 and want a 7 string with a trem, tonezone and paf sound just perfect for me, together they sound alil funky but seperatly or in the 5th position its just perfect to me,so anybody have any sugestion or shoulf i just get a whole new guitar?

  • @SiantDread Original Floyd Rose.

  • this solo no have a mean -_-

  • Hey! My name's Greg, and I'm from southwest Florida (in case you're wondering). Anyway, I went to my local shop today to check out a few axes with good locking trem models, and I saw that exact guitar on the video and a few other LTD's as well. There was also a KH-602 (Kirk Hammett sig), and an H-1001 with a Floyd Original, which looked exactly like my friend's Hellraiser. I played on all 3 and they were all great! It's hard for me to decide between them on which one to get, so any suggestions?

  • Awesome playing by the way!

  • @PunkMetalBassMaster I live in southwest florida also.I assume when you say ''your local shop'',you mean guitar center? I live on marco island, and other than morningstar in naples(has no esp),and guitar center-there is no good guitar shop I know of.If you know of a different guitar store ,I'd appreciate you telling me where it is. Thanks.

  • @PunkMetalBassMaster whichever one you think feels the best, sounds the best, is intonated the best, plays the best, stays in tune best, best shredding neck (if you're a shredder) best tone, etc. just the little things, ya know? hope this helps :)

  • @PunkMetalBassMaster throw them all into the air and the one you go for is the one that you want....the others were not worthy.

  • get this one i dont have it but i have an ltd mh 1000 which is similar and its freakin awesome

  • i´m between this and a schecter hellraiser c1, can anybody help???, which is better and smoother to play?

  • if your getting the fr model id get the schecter but if not might as well get this one because they are about the same

  • Comment removed

  • This guitar vs the BC Rich Kerry King Signature Wartribe?

  • @ihrainovs18 I'd love to se that.

Supposedly he's fixed the kahler completely as well!

  • I would like to see you do a comparison with this guitar versus an american made. maybe even your carvin

  • All ESP's are made iin Japan, all LTD's are made in Korea

  • i know, why does that matter.

  • same guitar and amp as me : D

  • I just got an JH-600, and mine came with different inlays, and a Orgininal Floyd Rose brigde, the rest is the same. Anyone knows if "its bad"? or whats best?

  • @Mceiner If you're wondering about the fact that your's has dagger inlays rather than the eagles, it's just that yours was built more recently, the (lets call it) Gen 1 JH-600's had the eagles and your's like mine is Gen 2 and has the daggers. As for the Floyd, the guitar is available with either a floyd or a kahler, floyd's (even licensed one's) usually hold tune better than a kahler. Although, thanks to DMO, my kahler on my JH-600 is almost perfect!!!!!!!!!

  • I know :) but you know that the gen 1 has "S and Key" inlays right? And a floyd. Then the eagle came, and then the dagger with H which both featured the kahler tremelo

  • Comment removed

  • Where did you buy it?

  • really like the riff starting at around 1:56

  • if you are ever going to sell your bc rich or the esp mII let me know and how much

  • im looking to get a new guitar around like this look. mabye a jackson or the bc rich you showed in another vid. there are these guitar selling at guitar center used for 600, thinking bout getting it. what do you think. i never had a floyd or kahler are they hard to switch standard to drop d?

  • cool man, i agree that some ltds are better than original ESPs! Believe it or not! :)

  • i messsed around with one of these in a guitar shop, i saw the inlays and said in my mind: "SLAYER! JEFF HANNEMAN!!" lol, theyre sick guitars but the trem was horrific, im not sure if it was a floyd or a kahler, i think it was a floyd because i dont remember the kahler look on the guitar bridge.

  • I can't believe that you replaced the bridge even though it may not retrofit the guitar. AAAAAAAAAND you replaced the pickups!!!! I'm glad you came to your senses that you can change pickups/ tremolos on a guitar and it will work for the better.

  • the jh stands for jesus hands

  • Jeff Hanneman , idiot

  • it was a joke genius

  • Oh, sorry, I though you were serious XD

  • I just don't like the fact that the inlay takes up the first fret. the true tone of the fretboard is being cut. Not dramatically but still. LTD's are made in korean machine shops (not good) but hey ESP's are too now seeing as you can't get a real esp anymore fucking dicks at ESP. its a known fact that ESP/LTD don't put Schaller made Floyds anymore on there guitars do to cost unless the guitars are custom shop. nice vid dmo.

  • Real ESP's are made in Japan

  • @scottydoe13579 but this one is better than the M II

  • just like the real jacksons :)

  • EVERY ESP is made in Japan

  • hey dmo you're looking good looks like you lost some weight

  • probebly from working his ass off

  • 1:56 gotta love that riff

  • There are exceptional Korean guitars out there that put a lot of American companies to shame. We have a LTD Kirk Hammett KH-602 and a $175 Ibanez RG 120 (Guitar Center budget special), both Korean made, that are excellent guitars with outstanding fretwork.

We couldn't believe the high quality for the low cost.

  • By the way, I have been trying more between Ernie Ball and D'Addario for EMG pickups. I use the 18 volt mod.

Both are good in their own way, but I'm beginning to prefer Ernie Ball because you can hear the notes me seperately and goes indeed perfect with EMG, however D'Addario does have a subtle charm to its sound, which is really good for chords.

  • kahler 2300 is double locked like original floyd rose?

  • No.

  • Hehe, I'm happy to see other people agree LTD is just as good as ESP, sometimes worse, sometimes even better.

But I don't like the sound you have on this video! I really hate line 6 >:(

  • wow man you must be a slayer fan since you have Kerry's signature and now you have Jeff's. i want that JH model so bad. love the eagle inlays.

  • i love your videos! ive learned a lot from them and hope you continue making them

  • id say buying a cheaper ltd and changing it's pickups would work better if you have a tight budget, since these signature models are all £1k+ whilst you can get the same thing just without fancy inlays for about £500, will still say ltd on it..

  • With kahler trems, is it susceptible to the same unintentional wobble/sharpening when palming, like on a Floyd Rose?

  • it depends on your technique, i have a floyd guitar and never have that problem when palm muting

  • Good point. I'm just used to hardtails and the Ibanez trems with the zero point system so I apparently have that issue when playing floating floyds, unless spring/string tension is really high.

  • try anchoring your pinky behind the pickups or higher on the string

  • Just don't be heavy handed on the floating bridges. I know what you mean though, some people have problems with palm muting sharp if they aren't used to it yet. It requires a lighter touch.

  • i got the spider IV. its nice but only difference is that they added delay on the stock of insane. also added a pedal input, which is nice

  • ah nice post indeed :)

  • dude, you finally post a new vid man. i love your vids. ive been wanting a new guitar and after this, i might actually get this guitar hahaha. more videos por favor. :P

  • After 3 seconds of the intro music I was expecting "Breaking News!!"

  • MORE VIDEOS!!! DMOMETALGUITAR!!

  • You must be a total idiot to have all of your bridges going out of tune with string bends. It's an extremely rare problem for Kahlers. And yet you've managed to get all the defective ones.

  • You've never played one then. Floyds go sharp or flat and Kahlers go out of tune. However all you have to do to fix it on Kahlers is to play with the bar.

  • Well, according to him, it's happened with every Kahler he's tried. and I'm guessing he's been been playing for substantially longer than you have.

  • dude, no offence but you should change your intro song, its getting very repetitive.

  • actually, I like it, its sounds so caresteristic for this channel ^^

  • omg it sounds so sexy what amp are you running?

  • he's usin a spider 3 on insane mode

  • lmao oh right it says right at the beginning of the video

i can never get that good of a tone out of the insane mode, wtf am i doing wrong

  • idk wat ur doin wrong cuz i always get awesome tone outa mine lol. maybe theres somtin wrong wit it? but u gotta try the new spider 4's there wicked.

  • Now you have KK's and JH's signature guitars, what's next for DMO?

  • but a floyd-rose equipped jh would make it just another plain old super strat, right?

i think the kahler and the non-reverse headstock makes this instrument something else.

  • Sounds awesome, but if I have to have a trem it's Floyd all the way. Kahlers are dreadfully expensive and way too many parts. Although the solid action and intonation seem nice...

  • line 6 is insane!!

  • Comment removed

  • Just to test the sound of the steel rollers. Read the video description. The Kahler Hybrid is better in my opinion.

  • @dmometalguitar what size strings are you using here?

  • Its been to long since you made a vid, glad to see one finally lol

  • Thank you for another great video, always a pleasure. To bad this wasnt really my kinda guitar way to unpracticle for my taste.

  • great review, but again i dont like kahlers for that reason...i do a lot of bends and i need my guitar in tune 100 percent of the time...so original FR for me

  • Question:

Would you say you can do a higher harmonic squeal with a floyd rose trem? I heard that the floyds have more range.

  • it doesnt matter, only thing you can do is dive-in and pull-up on harmonics, even pinch squeals

  • That wasn't my question really. I wanted to know if there is more range on a floyd rose, because that's what I heard. That does make a difference to me. If you can pull up on a floyd more, I'll probably save and get an ESP.

  • it depends on how the floyd is inserted into the body. not all guitars have a cut-away behind the floyd which matters for pull-ups

  • jeff hanneman himself uses d'addario strings

  • And's that why his guitar doesn't sound as good as KK's. D'addario suck compared to Ernie Balls. D'addarios don't have as much definition as EB's.

  • well i guess its a matter of opinion, i personally like Jeffs sound, and parts better

  • Are you sure Ernie Ball strings are best for EMG pickups? Because everyone uses D'Addario... so anyone's opinion in a reply would be great. Thanks!

  • Kirk Hammett uses Ernie Ball strings.

  • when you buy a package of ernie balls at the back of the package theres a list of their string endorsers

  • Both are great for actives but when it comes to tone people can go either way. I for one use D'addario. (They gaves me free Planet Waves locking tuners. That helps lol)

  • nice to see you back on the tube, nice demo

  • Idk the jeff model is okay I prefer the micheal paget signature because the neck just feels better to me

  • glad you're back!

  • that guitar is great, but on another note, how come you havent tried Dunlop strings for your EMG test? Zakk Wylde uses them and he has EMG's and he uses them on his Floyd Rose guitars, and you're a fan of slayer and Kerry King has EMG's with his Kahler tremolos and he uses dunlops too

  • I got the same guitar with the hybrid bridge, love the thing, one of the best guitars thats not $2000 so how much better is the 2300 Kahler?

  • cool i got the same guitar but with the original floy wich i like better

  • awesome
