Well I don't know what they're going to do. But we have to look at this time frame.
2028-Kyle Reese, T1, T-800, T2 T-800, and the T-1000 need to be sent back in time.
2032-John Connor dies, the T-850 and T-X go back in time, and the Resistance wins the war.
I honestly think to get the time line correct (unless they say there are massive changes) T5 should depict the events in 2028 and T6 should depict the events in 2032. That way everything is shown and explained.
This is the same thing that happened to the Star Wars Prequels Episode 1,2 & 3, as cool as they seemed they weren't as good as the Original Trillogy, I don't think Terminator Salvation has made enough of a profit for Warner Bros. to consider making a 5th film

I guess they can't come up with a clever original idea to got with this fututre war set film. It should take place in 2029 & have The ending be where the T-800 is sent back to 1984 & Kyle Reese going after him, thus leading to the events of the Original. Then a plot with a Reprogramed T-800 will be sent back to the year that T2 took place to stop the T-1000 that was sent back.

but thats wat im totally asking. if all of this shit is changing, there is no point to the last movies except to show johns life. cuz if they want to bring it full circle, they shud stop changing it. just my opinion, and the opinion of several others, but its not a competition.

ive seen the alternate ending but i dont understand why ur pointing out what i already know. i know that things change when you time travel. but i dont see a point to mcg making the movie like that cuz then that means wat happend in the originals never took place and it was a waste of film if they keep changing the story around all the time. i just dont agree with it. its nothing towards u, its the storyline. i luv terminator, but the plot just keeps being unnessisarily altered without point.

not his past. he still remembers that, but now it all changes into way different timelines that r skewed beyond proportion and i just dont like what they r doing. end of story. this isnt an argument, and everyone has their own opinions, i just dont care for all the changes they r making and not even telling why.

first film kyle comes back from 2029,he says in the first film "one possible future" then in the film he also says to sarah "i know his dad dies before the war" then he does because its kyle,then the photo of sarah is taken at the end and nothing has changed,in the script for the second film there is a cut scene of connor sending reese back knowing that he is his father already,salvation was about saving kyle,kyle is and always will be johns father,he must send him back so he is born

i understand that totally. i already know this imformation. "trust me," my frend just sed "she knows". but i just dont understand the way Ishta5 is explaining it. they r totally picking a fight for no reason. of course kyle has to go back. but they hav to be careful with what they do cuz it cud change everything, like TSCC, kyle is not johns dad in the possible future. and so they really hav to be careful.

I didn't like the 4th one at all. It sucked. The 4th one should have been about the origins of the T-800. As for the 5th one it should be about the origins of the T-800 and T-1000. No more time travel b.s.

you got that spot on,i do not want a T5 in the past but i do like the idea of the T-1000 returning as McG said,you even print the plot details out like i do lol,im a fan of terminator and i hope they dont screw up.
