It WAS a great time and a renewal of my belief that there is good in everyone! (Unless of course you're a deranged serial killer that knits hoochie koochie stockings out of the skin of the newly slain and then wears them with 6 inch stilettos.)

The cats (my Beloveds) were lost to me in my divorce. They are happy (though one is dead...I wonder if she's happy in kitty heaven) and I am far past the point of missing them and I'm hair free. (Well cat hair anyway..) It's been 11 months. Feb 23/09 will be one year without them.

Thus, I can go on vacation without worry of pets, or kids, or people living under my stairs. .... odd reference but someone will surely get it.

That was nothing Iggy. We were only 140 meters above sea level on that mini mountain. Our highest climb was an incline of just over 2400 meters, almost vertical in some places with only about 12 inches of a cliff to maneuver around. It was July but we were dressed for October because it's so cold up there. THAT was GORGEOUS!!! Sigh. I want to go back....
