Played that Contra game a zillion times. When I was young it was so hard for me{like 6 years old} but when I grew older damn the game became so easy. It was a nice childhood memorie to see.

@HardcoreGamer4Ever I dunno. This was NOT a 3D system early on untill some games had the fx chip. Also, no way was this system capable of 32 thousand colors.

The SNES was far more powerful than the Genesis in every way. Sure it had a comparatively slow processor, but it didn't really seem to need anything faster. The Genesis is nothing more than a slightly more advanced Sega Master System, which had really impressive graphics for an 8-bit machine.

snes had a lower res than the genesis, but could display more colours and more advanced effects (mode 7). but both were too weak for true 3d (untill they made the fx chip).

God, watching these old commercials give me memories and bring a tear to my eye, lol... I miss the old classic days. But to this day I still have my SNES in my room. I used to play alot of Super Mario World alot on it! The 90's were so damn fun.
