  • Would biodiesel be safe in a 2005 chevy duramax I've heard it's not good for 2002 & up diesels

  • pH goes to 14 buddy

  • So what happens if we buy a brand new oil from the shop, do we still have to go through this titration process?

  • no you do not it is a standard amount this guy uses 5.5

  • whats with this mixing of all these chemicals i just use straight vegetable oil and i have noproblems

i buy it new from the supermarket

cheaper then gas and just throw it in my tank

    works like a treat

  • It depends on your climate [SVO wouldn't work in cold climates without a diesel mix], plus some fuel injection systems really doesn't like dealing with it. So the vehicle is a factor. You can add filters , heaters and water separation systems to your car/truck and run SVO with no issues, but running straight SVO is going to eventually cause issues with your vehicle.

I run biodiesel because I don't have to modify my truck. Repairs can get expensive and messy with an improper SVO setup.

  • WASTE VEG OIL is free! costs about £15 to make 100ltr of fuel , how much does it cost you to make 100ltr of fuel?

  • Thanks you, I now burn biodiesel in my zombie f250, and I'm making it at home. I love this stuff.
