Personally I view a classic murdered as something like Britney Spears - I love Rock and Roll, as it is something a whole new generation will think of first when they hear the song. I've come accross people who genuinely think it's an original Britney Spears song.

When you're talking about a dance mix of a song it's just something to enjoy if you're into it, but nobody is going to think it's the original song, and it's generally pretty far removed from the original anyway.
