btw: lol. You use 12x12 inches paper, but use marks in centimeter. ;-) You should kick your ancient masurements and go fully metric!

@TheEuronaut YES!  I love the metric system, but I don't think my country will be switching over any time soon so I'm stuck using inches, feet, yards, miles, etc! :-(

@TheEuronaut LOL! Yep. The accent is pretty noticeable, eh? Ich habe ein Jahr in Tübingen studiert und damals fragten Leute mich immer, "Woher KOMMST du?" Es war schon klar, dass ich keine Deutschin bin. :-)

@Pages4theAges as long as your german is more or less perfect, nobody cares about the accent. ;-)

It's just a regional thingy. In Germany (+Austria/Switzerland) we have so many dialects. So if you don't sound "local" (to the region), everybody will ask where you are from. It's nothing personal.
