Wells was a gamer and didn´t take any crap from anybody. He fought Probert, Kocur, Fotiu, Nystrom Brown, Semenko, Holmgren. Pretty much everybody worth mentioning except for Behn Wilson, and they were teammates as junior players.
@bjursten ...wells was tough, while he put up a battle here against brown , I would say brown edged him in this one, wells's face/nose looked broken. I have seen other fights where wells beat dave brown, but not this one.
What a complete beat down by Brown.
