firstly, how long did you train to become an astronaut? and get the amazing opportunity that you are enjoying
and finally, in your opinion, what hope is there for "Space tourism" starting up in the next 50 years? can i plan to have a summer holiday aboard a space station in the future?
Hi Paulo. I was fascinated by the interview you did with BBC World. It must be amazing up there. A part of me envies you, but part of me panics about the isolation of the whole thing. Which is why I ask, do you or any of your colleagues ever get claustrophobic, panic, or suffer mental strain of any kind when you either think or dream about just how far from earth you are? In fact, what do you dream about up there?
Che meraviglia Paolo, il sogno dell'uomo continua ed è grazie al lavoro di voi astronauti, uomini o donne coraggiosi che l'avventura nello spazio prosegue. Quando ci sarà secondo lei una missione umana verso marte ? Complimenti ancora. Thank you very much for your work. Paola Zucchello
Hi astronaut Paolo! I'd like to ask you zillion questions, so I'll try pick at least some.
What are physiological consequences of staying in space with lower gravity force than out body is developed? for example: Do you feel or see any changes in digestion and muscles? I believe you have the best possible nutrition and lots of sport but are you up there getting significantly weaker? Does it feel funny to stand on your own feet back down on the surface?
Hi Paolo. I'd like to hear from you some details about two days spent in the Soyuz capsule, before docking. How do you and your crewmates spend them? Mostly in the Orbital Module? I imagine there is a great difference with the same period of time spent in the Space Shuttle. Grazie e Ciao!
People across the world will be waving to you and your colleagues on the ISS during the week of 24th - 31st December. This round-the-world wave is being choreographed by a grassroots Twitter campaign (@ISSwave).
It would be great if you would wave back. If you video yourself waving, we'll put it online at isswave.org. We'll also be posting videos and photos of us down here waving to you up there.

Hello Paolo! I would like to know something more about the scientific experiments you have to perform during your six months at ISS. Moreover, I wish to know if you will have a daily spare time and which way you will pass it. Finally, is there on the ISS anything like a private room for everyone of the crew members? (i.e., does exist a place for a little bit of solitude?)
Hi Paolo is, ESA further develop their own ways to go to the ISS? How do the astronauts of the ISS with space debris by micro parts of satellites? Why be in school contacts always asked the same questions? Everything good for you! Best wishes, Daniel
Siamo i bambini della scuola elementare G Asquasciati di Sanremo.. Ti auguriamo un buon viaggio spaziale! Avremmo tante domande da farti.. Ci potrai risponder? Guardiamo su nel cielo e immaginiamo di vederti!,
My name is Kalle Edgar, I'm 16 years old and I'm from Sweden.
I am considering to study much to get the chance of being selected as a ESA astronaut when I am a adult in the future.
I have two questions though which I am very curious about: How was your astronaut training? And how did you feelt during launch on your latest space shuttle mission, the STS-120?
I wish you good luck to your mission on the International Space Station.
Carlo A.G. Tripodi
What's the software/hardware automation that would most improve your efficiency in doing your job on the ISS? Where would you like to see semi/fully-autonomous control systems on the ISS?
In bocca al lupo per il tuo soggiorno spaziale! Tanti saluti, Benjamin.
Paolo my son Gabriel is 16 and has wanted to work for NASA since he was 4yrs. old. he is 16 and a physics major in high school. His class will be following you too now! Beverly Hamm

ciao signore Nespoli,
first of all, congratulations for this great launch.
Than two questions, the first: What is the difference between flying with a shuttle and a sojus to space?
And the second question: What are you doing in the two days before docking with the station? Do you have time for experiments in these two days?
Wishing you good speed and a lots of fun for your mission on the ISS.
