  • i used a drill switch and mounted it to the handle bars lol

  • i have the same wintch got one year out of it relays burned out and board inside also burned out now im looken for a new control for it off ebay but the winch itsself dose still work..

  • @wackomatt1212 Mine burned up too; so I just opened up the box and hard wired it with a 3-way switch on the handle bar.

  • my buddy had a home made plow for his ranger he had the same winch it didnt last the winter when the winch got cold it sucked

  • @mortie806 Yea it does get 'sluggish' when it is real cold ( the remote broke last winter and I had to hard wire it). When this one finally goes I want to buy a good one

  • he mounted the winch wrong

  • that is relly bad for the front rack

  • actually the hitch is not bolted to the rack; but to the metal frame underneath the rack. I checked it this spring and the rack and metal has not developed any cracks; but this set-up is too weak to really pull the ATV out of the mud or anything that heavy duty............

  • you got the same winch as me i found that its too slow and in the cold the remote needs to stay warm , and the button push thru and get stuck .the nice thing about it is that i mounted it on my brake handle which helped with time. ill be look ing for a faster one next year

  • Awesome! Might think of putting lights on quad off the slide in. On blade might be rough on bulbs. On blade also may make light jump. Looks awesome!

  • Very innovative! :) Jack
