@feralpred upon actually watching the video, I saw that he wasn't using an AK, it was an MP44. You can tell because where the gas tube connects to the barrel. The AK has a slant to it, while the MP just goes straight up. also, the body and buttstock are kinda different

actually it's an ak74 you can tell by the front sight and the muzzle brake

and as for the gas tube,an ak47 has a slanted piece on the gas tube but the ak74 has a straight one

The medics were trained to kill, they had weapons, they wore military clothes... A medic is a soldier, and soldiers gets killed... Just to add, there is no laws in war... when the very first bullet is fired down the street, the laws stops existing and chaos breaks lose. Really, there is no laws in the heat of battle.

It's difficult to get hold of ww2 airsoft guns. As it happens the STg44/mp44 and the AK 47 are very different. Oddly the Ak 47 owes quite a lot to the M1 Garand.

ok... ummm... the AK47 isn't really that good of a gun compared to other automatic rifles. the M4,M16, and M14, are better in so many ways. just look at statistics. the AK47 is meant so pin down the enemy with automatic fire. it's only accurate up to 60meters (or yards, I forget which). the M16 is accurate up to 100 meters/yards. that's straight out of a military textbook btw, before you start yelling at me how you can hit targets beyond that.

The AK is better in design. You can practically go through hell with that gun and still function. (partly because Russia and Siberia *is* hell.)

M4/M16 will jam in a lot of situations where the AK will prevail.

Also the AK can be easily field-stripped, or at least simple enough that the poorly-trained soldier can do it.

(And that the 7.62 round simply has more energy than the 5.56, ofc)

0.25 an M14, M14s wasn't used until the vietnam war but i can see why they use them in WW2 re-enactments as there more or less just upgrades of M1 garands

This one was the first of the big battle weekends and to be inclusive we allowed rep rifles as the airsoft 2ww guns were either to expensive and shite or not availible. Actualy first come M1 Garand that has been used in WWII and Vietnam, but then U.S.A:s Army needed something to replace M1 Garand, because they didn't make it anymore. So they invented M14 Semi Automatic rifle. But it wasn't so good that the Americans thought. So they needed something to replace that too. (They used M14 too tough.) So the came in the M16 Full Automatic Assault Rifle.

this group "comrades in arms" are not totally strict, they allow "looks like" guns. e.g an m14 could be an M1 garand (semi)  or a BAR with bipod (auto) but the player has to nominate which gun it is, and ak47=mp44 etc etc before the round starts
