If you want to know what happens when union-busters get their way, look at a picture of downtown Detroit. It looks like a Johannesburg slum, or Sarajevo if you're feeling generous. Every victory for the corporations in times like these results in another great city reduced to a slum. Both my parents come from places like that. My dad's town looks like someone napalmed an Old West town and my mom's town has a crime rate so high it might as well be Compton.
