  • The very special and wonderful way of music that David Crosby was able to create - thank you for presenting one of his best with the interesting and beautiful picture show!

  • My husband remembered part of the lyrics and I had to get up and look it up. Knew I had heard it! Great song! Thanks for the upload! We're old hippies too!

  • Bad-ass jam. Thanks for the upload!

  • I agree that's it's a beautiful album and one of my all time favorites...I live very close to where it was recorded. And the album's title clearly indicates Crosby's state of mind at the time.

  • "What's you name, sweet little indian girl?

She said, 'Raven' and she looked my way."

    -Gives me chills every time-

  • Back to when we were all children... almost like it never happened - only the music remains...........................

  • The sweet little Indian girl named Raven that he refers to is Rita Coolidge... who left Stephen Stills for Graham Nash.

  • "f I Could Only Remember My Name" features musicians from the Jefferson Airplane, Santana, the Grateful Dead and Joni Mitchell, plus Neil Young and Joni Mitchell.

IICORMN is Crosby's finest work. The arrangements are flawless. The songs, stunning.

  • Baddest ass chords since Hendrix... "Somethin' here aint exactly right"

"I'm crazy but I ain' real dumb"

  • I always liked this song. I also seem to remember it being a song my brother Kevin really liked.

  • The band is literally the Grateful Dead with Crosby on guitar and vocals instead of Bob Weir. Also no keyboardist. Crosby/Garcia/Lesh/Hart/Kreutzmann.

  • "When David Crosby's girlfriend Christine Hinton died in a traffic accident in 1969, the singer was devastated. After barely making it through sessions for Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young's "Déjà Vu," Crosby sought an outlet in workfor his debut solo album. Recruiting musicians from his expansive circle of friends, including Jerry Garcia, Joni Mitchell, and Grace Slick, Crosby pieced the album together at a San Francisco studio over three months in 1970."
