when you say " your skills" you mean when your are playing? yeah your'r right because he will teach us what he learned from his practice and from others knowledge... but youtube can teach us many things too , without paying to a teacher... If I have doubts doing bends I can ask you for example.... and ask other for sweeps , etc etc... so youtube rocks!

I meant I did that once upon a time. He might have done it differently. But try using some sort of edge filter like "stylize -> find edges" or "brush storkes -> accent edges"
