I believe Elvis is alive, he despaired to live normal life. Just think about it why Priscilla is celebrating his birthday like he is alive. I recognize the fact that Priscilla is Lisa's Mother. As the former wife of Elvis and the Mother I feel that she is doing her best to keep Elvis' memory alive and I thank her for that. Veronon entrusted Graceland and Elvis' money to Priscilla until Lisa was of age and I believe she has done her very best to license Elvis' name, open Graceland and build the businesss for Lisa.

I think what you guys have forgotten is that it is Priscilla who saved the Elvis Empire due to her great marketing and Keeping Elvis's memory alive. She made Elvis more memorable than ever before. Graceland will be open forever cos Elvis represents American History, the US gov't cannot afford to close it down.USA is a young country, it has not much history, they have to Graceland as museum.White house and Graceland are the most visited places in USA.Graceland brings in a lot of revenue - no one can afford to loose it. carddog, I can't say as I blame you for thinking the way you do, I have not been since 02, before the takeover if I am not mistaken, and I imagine it has really turned even more a cash cow, don't get me wrong, I loved it, Graceland was beautiful and peaceful but I found it sad that this is no longer the home where Elvis enjoyed family and friends, I just pray it does not change drastically from what it is, I would hate to see it a circus.
