I come back to airbag with a bit of new perspective.

I was driving along in my BMW 325 (my fast German car) this evening and an old bloke in a Daihatsu drifted straight across the road and hit me head on.

I had time to hit the brakes, scream and throw my arms up in front of my face before he slammed straight into me.

The firemen reckon that because I had lost speed my airbag didnt go off, but his did and it makes lots of smoke !!!

He's OK, and I have a sore neck.

Small correction. There were 1500 issues printed of the singles box but I doubt that all are complete. Mine is numbered 723. In fact, none of them are complete since one would be single was never released ( which was "Let down" ). The band thought this collection was too commercial and axed the last single. As a consolation everyone who collected the stickers got a special edition EP with 6 unique tracks.

Purchased the OK Computer album in the first week since the release. Have had it on repeat at least for a month. I even had one marathon sitting of 5 plays back to back. Every time I heard a song I heard all kinds of new sounds. First listen was not that pleasing but the album grew on me after 2 or 3 plays. And after that I understood that this album was my tipping moment . Never heard better music before or since.

I also have the limited edition single pack. Less than 1000 issues worldwide.

This song....this album...changed rock music forever. 1997.....3 years after Kurt Cobain died...30 years after Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band...grunge took a back seat to electronic sound. A new era was born. The rule of thumb is...everything repeats full circle. The Beatles took music to a new level in the 60's...then Radiohead in the 90's...both of which came from the UK. Every 30 years we'll see something that rocks the world. I can't wait till 2027. I wonder what they'll rock us with.
