1) Malph recalls
2) Saint pushesh the lane so Malph loses XP and Money
3) GP & Saint both benefit -- Saint doesn't fall behind due failed gank & GP gets lane advantage
4) GP has no idea why Saint did what he did, which is obvious from his reaction
5) GP gives the advantage to the enemy team
Due the jungle remake, a failed gank means you should tax the lane, else your jungle will fall behind, hurting the chance of a future gank succeeding.

Thing is, if the enemy laner either died or backed. and This happens to you. Help push the lane. You both get gold and exp and you deny the enemy gold and exp. It works out. If you're already behind. cs the best you can when you both are pushing and just deny the malphite.

If the enemy has to back, shove the lane to tower so that you deny them a wave or two of gold and exp that no one on their team will get, while your TEAM still gets all the gold and exp from their creeps. The only reason it didn't work is because you didn't push the lane with him. Your lane doesn't always need to be frozen in order to win.

Thing is, if the enemy laner either died or backed. and This happens to you. Help push the lane. You both get gold and exp and you deny the enemy gold and exp. It works out. If you're already behind. cs the best you can when you both are pushing and just deny the malphite.

If the enemy has to back, shove the lane to tower so that you deny them a wave or two of gold and exp that no one on their team will get, while your TEAM still gets all the gold and exp from their creeps. The only reason it didn't work is because you didn't push the lane with him. Your lane doesn't always need to be frozen in order to win.

When a person leaves the lane it's a good time to push it, especially if you have your jungler there too since you can push it faster.
By pushing the lane you deny him an entire wave (or more) of your minions since the turret will get them, and you give yourself the chance to b as well to spend your gold.
You hadn't gone back yet. You had 1k gold, perfect time to buy some items and MAYBE A WARD. The problem here is your obsessive farming and refusal to go back when it's a good time to do so.
