  • a couple of things are wrong with this ad: it is now well documented that HIV is NOT a sexually transmitted disease; it is now well documented the alleged HIV virus is many times smaller than the pores of a condom.

Also this ad was made for propaganda to create hysteria in the hetero community, based on a lies, hetero women are not at risk. still, TO THIS DAY, the overwhelming majority of AIDS carriers are homosexual men, end of story. this is pure propaganda to get heteros in the HIV system.

  • disgusting ad

  • @meninrevolt How so? This ad is factual for the time it was released and was made to combat prejudiced against homosexual males who at the time were being blamed AIDS.

  • if would have come off as less sexist if it was not so one sided as all the women being shot by the gun.

Unsafe sex if dangerious for both men and women.

  • Best solution = Make marriages illegal and make sperm donation legally forced n then just let women have it induced at their will. Let all co-"sex"ed activities illegal.

Feminist statement - "Let women live."

    Woman: Yeaaa!!!!!!

    Jesus: lol

    Man: ....Pathetic.

  • Women need to NOT ever trust men and luckily most don't! Seriously if men would just be open about their orientation and not lie then HIV wouldn't spread to women. keep that shit to the fags. by the way ladies, if a man licks your asshole or wants anal sex then he is BISEXUAL. but you should be making him wear condoms anyway... trust me, I got herpes from a man I thought i could trust. lucky i didn't catch HIV. learn from my mistake!!!!!

  • @AirForceGirl05 the girl who failed at buttsekz is crying eh? lmao....

  • @AirForceGirl05 I take it you're American...

  • @AirForceGirl05 Does that mean that any woman that wants oral sex is gay?

  • @deityofanimee

No, but any woman that wants to lick your asshole is probably gay!

  • @AirForceGirl05

Shut the fuck up you stupiud feminist cunt.

  • lesbian not sleeping or hanging around germy azz males won't get infected. males will stick that lil nasty pecker in anything. even up the shithole of women, boys or animals lol

  • But of cooooourse... Lesbian nor gay sex doesn't transmit AIDS or VIH. Transmition neither comes from infected women to healthy men... This kind of bullshit is one of the kind that fans the flames of sexual discrimination!!!

  • @ReTsU19 We must not forget that gays, lesbians and women are all politically protected groups and that all of them, including other men, are responsible for attacks against the heterosexual male. Attacks are also made specifically against white males or black males, etc. to further the divide amongst males while they systematically destroy us all.

  • So of course for this reason it would be politically incorrect to point out how gays, lesbians and women are all responsible for the spread of HIV as well. It is politically correct to blame men for it, though, even though the assumption made is that it is heterosexual males. Of course, when homosexual men are highlighted to blame men for the spread of HIV (in discussions but not PSAs) no distinction is kept between they and heterosexual males because it furthers the demonization of males.

  • Who the hell ever came up with this piece of crap should be shot. They honestly thought it was OK to have all the men pointing all the guns and doing all the shooting and that'd be OK? You know, I'm trying to raise two beautiful little boys and THIS is the sort of thing that's getting on my raw nerve about feminism/corporatism/media. And to put whipped cream and a cherry on top, it came from MTV? Now there's a source of moral direction we can all feel good about. WTF?

  • @teerexness Honestly! it´s as freakingly sarcastic as having Hugh Feffner presiding a religious symposium about the dangers of masturbation!!

  • It's easier for a man to infect a woman with HIV than it is for a woman to infect a man with HIV. This isn't about the "hatred of men and boys"

    /watch?v=0XV-Z09OtiA

  • @Vrijheidx, women kill more children than men do. Now, how should that be portrayed in the media? Oh, and women are more likely to be the host of all the non-AIDs STDs. How should that be portrayed?

  • If this commercial was simply against aids in general, then yes i would call it sexist. But since it specifies that most people infected are WOMEN under 30, then i find it quite normal that they're showing men infecting heterosexual women under 30 because these women are the group this ad is for. Besides, it asks WOMEN to demand HE wears protection, thus implying that women are just as responsible for the spread of aids as men. I'm really not seeing the misandry.

  • Women used to be the keepers of virtue. Now, they will lay down and spread their legs for anyone or anything (not to exclude dogs and farm animals). Satan is very proud of his women. If any man ever wants to know where hell is, all he has to do is follow a woman - chances are, she's on her way there right now.

  • I would say it's misogynistic as it is clearly promoting violence against women. Also it is insinuating that all women are disease ridden. I don't know how guys can see misandry in this ad. I sure didn't

  • @CaitlinLove1

It's not promoting violence against women. It's just vilifying men. When the men are shooting the women they are giving a visual analogy that infecting a woman with aids is like shooting her. In the commercial they are trying to portray that as something wrong. However, violence against men is usually portrayed as funny or not to be taken seriously. The violence in itself isn't offensive, it's how the violence is portrayed that's offensive.

  • @CaitlinLove1 This sort of propaganda actually creates resentment between the sexes - men are instictively defensive from it and blame women because Western women are unconsciously feminist and provoked to hate/frear men in return - so it causes harm to men and women.

  • beyond the message, I thought misandry

  • If you want to do an awareness of condom use, is it right, but the misandry that appears in this ad is well known, is very offensive, when the world has little number of men may realize it, and men can also be spread of AIDS and die, we think, that man is a threat or something, of course not! Should be gender equality as called for, not through insults or generalize to the other sex.

  • Question:

"What does a slave want more than anything else?"

    Answer:

    "To be the master".

That in a nutshell, ladies and gentlemen, is an answer to most of the world's contemporary socio-political problems.

  • Yeah. Cause it would be sexist to say a woman could infect a man.

    Fucking hell.

  • this is a highly offensive commercial and i beilieve that the producers owe a public apology to all men

  • How come the WOMEN don't have guns? The men got it from women, if they were straight, so why do only the MEN have guns. Gimme a break.

  • this is by far the most offensive, misandristic, steryotypical, and disturbing commercial that ive ever seen

  • Demand that your partner wears a condom? Silly. Maybe these women shouldn't be having sex with just any guy they see. If they stop having reckless sex then maybe they won't get AIDS.

  • @chrisman737

Seriously? I find this quite offensive to all the people who have been infected by aids even though they weren't promiscuous. Getting aids doesn't necessarily mean you're sleeping with every guy you see. You can get it from the partner you're in a serious relationship with.

  • @coccinelsucrer, very true. But my point is that the commercial seems to suggest that it is all the man's fault, with the man holding the gun and the woman just smiling. It ignores the reality that some men can get AIDS from women, and that there are plenty of women who sleep around with a lot of guys. Promiscuity works both ways. And so does infection -- women can infect men just as men can infect women. I wonder if this commercial showed women holding the gun, what would people say?

  • @chrisman737

If most of the people infected by aids were heterosexual men and this commercial was aimed at heterosexual men, it would most likely be a woman shooting a man, but it is not. Hetero women are being targeted here.

And If their point was that only men are to be blamed for infecting their partners, the message would be something like "men, protect your partner, wear a condom", but it actually tells heterosexual women to "demand that their partner wears a condom" instead.

  • @coccinelsucrer, actually I would prefer the first message -- "men, protect your partner..." sounds like a mature exhortation. To say that women should "demand" something of their men is kind of silly. If she doesn't want to get pregnant, she should not have sex -- and neither should the man.

  • @chrisman737

Huh? This ad is not about pregnancy, it's about aids. And making an ad saying "women, if you don't want to get aids, don't have sex" would actually be silly, for a lot of people still won't abstain. I also don't see what's less mature about women caring for their own protection by asking their partner to wear a condom. There already are a few ads directed at men, now let's make women aware of the fact that they are responsible for their own protection too.

  • "In the past quarter century, we exposed biases against other races and called it racism, and we exposed biases against women and called it sexism. Biases against men we call humor." - W, Farrell

  • How hateful against men! Stupid! Stupid ad!!!

  • ROBIN: Oh jeepers batman! I think we should spend the governments money on help for young, striaght women!

BATMAN: What about the men, gays, and old people Robin?

ROBIN: Who gives a fucking shit about those bitch asses Batman?

BATMAN: Sounds like a plan Robin!

  • damn! That was kinda hawt lol

  • Couldn't they have showed just one of the women shooting a man? I don't think this ad is misandrist though, it's just targeted at the demographic of heterosexual women. If a woman has HIV and demands her partner wear a condom then she is protecting him, this ad puts responiciblity on heterosexual women by telling them to have their partner wear a condom.

  • @alexfanx

All acts of violence between men and women shown in the add were committed by men establishing it as an absolute norm. To do so suggests only men are capable of violence. Such a suggestion by definition is sexist.

  • This commerical isn't saying that the woman gave the men HIV, it's saying that the men have given the virus to them. It's saying they just gave them a death sentence that's symbolized by the men giving the women a bullet in the dead.

Misandrist commercials get quite old, but I don't think this qualifies. It doesn't have the usual male stereotypes (stupidify, obesity, laziness...) and second, isn't the most effective means of passing the virus through semen and into vaginal/anal cavities?

  • @ScubaSteve1974

It depicts, males only, as casually killing their sexual partners after "getting what they want" by definition, how could that not be sexist?

  • Its all how you look at it... hell, if some bitch under 30 gave me aids id fuckin shoot her in the face with a glock too!!

  • sometimes its just kinder to put some bitches down.......

  • @SpecterReflector especially if they have aids.

  • Given that the point of the ad is a fact about a trend (fastest growing group being young women) makes the scene appropriate. It doesn't seem misandrist to me. The point is they are speaking to women and mean to shock. If they were just saying to everyone "watch out for aids" and portrayed the man as always the bad guy then yes it definitely would be. I actually was pissed until the end, 'cus the title made me expect I was going to be upset. But as a woman, this ad was very effective on me.

  • So there's a possibility that more men have contracted the HIV virus than women?

Why then are there no ads for males?

  • You don't think a man shooting these women in ads makes the men look like bad guys, even subliminally?

  • Yes. its definitely uncomfortable. I don't think the point is that they are men, though. Heterosexual women sleep with men, so... it's not a tree or a porcupine pulling a gun. I think the point is to make you feel threatened, and THEN the explanation is given. Notice everyone is having a good time, too, and the women don't react in helpless horror. why no ads for men? i don't keep track, but if there aren't there definitely should be - for ALL types, really.

  • I've learned to keep my guard up for people and I've especially learned not to be trustful of women.

You seem pretty sincere though, maybe a little bit of both and you haven't responded in typical hateful nor disingenious fashion.

Thankfully, everyone hasn't been tainted by our politically correct thinking.

  • lesbians do not spread HIV

  • Oh, now that's just sick. Really. It's just as much the woman's responsibility to practice safe sex as it is the man's. They both should be taking steps to keep themself and their partner safe. You can't put total blame on either of them.

And misandry is just as horrid as misogyny.

*Firefox's built in spell-checker recognizes the word "misogyny", but apparently "misandry" isn't even a word to them; it's not in their at all. Sad.

  • Comment removed

  • That would help no one. Some, many, would argue that misandry is a retaliation from the sexism women have endured for thousandfs of years. But it's not right. Using misogny to fight this, will just cause it to get stronger. It'll just keep flipping back and forth, one thinking they are just getting even, when in reality, they're just making it worse.

I say we try to be equal.

    Let's all be misanthropes.

  • How do we even know women were ever really "oppressed"?

Even if women really were oppressed the women that were and the men that oppressed them are all dead now.

The women alive today are not and probably never have been any more oppressed than any other group.

  • How is it that the gender that is less infected by aids is infecting the gender that is more infected by aids?

If more women have aids than men how is it that women are catching aids from men, overall?

If most victims of aids are women then it's likely the women that are infecting people most often.

  • Hey just to clarify.... I know this is months ago sorry... It is the fastest growing group. meaning that they are the most likely to contract at that time. not a head count. hope that helps.

  • This advert is clearly misandrous, because it forcefully implies that only men are responsible for any negative consequences resulting from hetrosexual couplings. It demonstrates its message by portraying the men in each unnecessarily graphic scenario as violent murderers.

Tell me, where are the adverts that portray women in an equally poor light. Why are they always the smiling, innocent, unassuming, victims?

This advert is disgusting. Yet another example of vile feminist propoganda.

  • No, it's saying that only men are the ones that are going to give women HIV during hetero sex. The ad is AIMED at women, alerting them to the fact that they are (when it was current) the fastest growing group. True, they SHOULD have ads that also speak to straight men, showing women as dangerous, and gay men, showing other men as dangerous. and old people... You're responsible for stopping the hate too, so that means try not to see the hidden hitler in everything, sometimes, it's not there.

  • The imagery used is misandric. 'Men are the ones that are going to give you HIV and they're going to do it with a gun'. Whatever the message is, it is undermined by the unnecessary representation of man in his sterotypical violent destroyer role. Penis = Gun. It's completely distasteful and as blunt as a fucking hammer.

  • Thank you Sambucca. I myself am sickened by the double standard gender feminist ideology in the media hype. Medical documentation PROVES those women with ailments to have multiple sex partners (including married women). Military spouses (wives) sky rockets when it comes to infidelity. Infidelity IS the same between the sexes. My opinion? Women do more but they are sneaky. Men face much more prejudice. Men are more vulnerable to FALSE accusations as well. Just watch the news to witness.

  • Without being too far fetched, maybe there are a lot of girls who sleep with many partners than contract HIV then have lesbian sex and give other girls HIV. I'm in no way suggesting all girls are sluts or lesbians are bad. I'm just saying that it could contribute to the numbers. The majority of the age group described in this video comes form African nations because the citizens have not received condom education. This ad makes it look like like men everywhere are trying to hurt women.

  • @Popadibs its because no woman want to look like a slut women will send men to jail for false rape so they won't be seen as a whore

  • @Popadibs

You're another stupid male. Women aren't the most infected with AIDS/HIV. They are the FASTEST GROWING group with it. If you look at the statistics you'll find that 80% of people with it are male. You don't understand statistics.

  • @AirForceGirl05 Even if I miscalculated a couple of years ago you are still no good today. By your own admission, men are 4 times as infected with aids as women are and this is only because female aids/hiv victims have grown in number. This means that up until now men were more than 4 times as infected with aids/hiv. So why is it that ads like this are addressing a problem that primarily affects males only to highlight a minority of victims, females, without concern for male aids/hiv victims?

  • @AirForceGirl05 fastest growing "group" eh? and people say men are sexual beasts.... fail lol. yea yea now come n try to throw your sh1t at me lol. tha "men are beasts! u rape! u force! u violate! u this! u that...." fail lol.

Thats why I tell people not to turn into dolls coz 1st you kill your respect & dignity and then you get yourself raped! lmao! real fail lol. Pathetic. really. rofl

  • @Popadibs Fewer men have sexual partners that women, but the ones that have have more sexual partners. This is not exclusive to our species and mirrors most communal mammals.

  • same here... had to tell my computer to learn the word.
