@DustinDev47 , Well you'd need a pack (more than 1 cell system) because one Lithium Ion cell is only ~3.7 volts whereas a car form-factor lead acid battery (which has multiple cells in it) in ~12 volts. :::A battery pack is a set of any number of (preferably) identical batteries or individual battery cells.

Grommets aren't bushings.

you put the grommet in the hole usually to protect something from the edges of the hole. IE: wiring harness through a firewall.

hey Rick --How many watts and volts does that solar panel put out? Can it really charge the batteries very fast or just maintain them?

15W at 1.2 amps so it would charge them up over a couple days.

Nice way to maintain the batteries when the cart isn't use.

The only issue I see here is that maybe you should keep the back screws at that length. If the panel is flat, rain water will accumulate on the glass. But if the panel is in a tilt, the water will drain off.

Neat little project though. Personally I would have turned that thing into an electric go-kart, and maxed out the motor with as many batteries as it can handle without burning out. :)
