@viletree No. Djent is a tone, which is achieved by palm muting and releasing the lowest strings of a 7 or 8 stringed guitar, with an excessive amount of middle and treble in the tone frequencies. Protest the Hero does not have a djent tone at all. They are a certain genre of mathcore mixed with tech metal. If you want to hear a band that is like protest, but progressive and with a djenty tone, go listen to Sikth
