@alphatyrone I think Malkmus was responding to the fact Mark was smoking a cigarette and trying to play bass at the same time during the intro. Steve: "You cant do both a the same time".

@jesuscat29 Maybe...I don't think he says "you" though, at the start, so I think he's talking about how he can't combine the rhythm guitar part with the lead part.
