There are two one ups- one beneath the bridge at the very beginning and one at the tree at the very end. Also the tree next to the bridge at the beginning has a ? coin above it which will give you a bunch of coins.

Right at the very beginning go down and climb the tree and get over 1000 points. Your hint about the spin jumping really helps in this level.

The 1-up are under the bridge, over the tree (like you said) and there is a life with 6 thingy on the side the big tree then ANOTHER 1-up on top of that other tree

i was expecting some kind of "whoa"-effect since i failed 15+ times with this so far. but your attempt was far from perfect neither. best i had was 9360 pts so far and it appears as if my "technique" doesnt vary too much from yours at all. just seems like i need to give it a shot and eventually i will be lucky enough to get 2 more extra head jumps and viola.

@23g3g got 12000+ pts on my first try after my posting xD and it wasnt that much difficult or diffrent from my other attempts. Your Video just gave me courage that i wasn't doing anything "wrong" - i always thought i missed something out - i just had to focus more.

make sure to get the first 3 monsters right and use a spinning jump to get into the "ring". get the 1000 pts for the 1-up mushy straight ahead, and that should give you a solid basis for the rest of the level. thx again.

There is a one-up on top of the tree near the end, where there is a ring of enemies and the box. It's perfect if you are really close. It does give you 1000.

Just found a LIFE mushroom behind the first tree after the first set of goombas (after the first part over to the right of the screen). It give you 1,000 points. Plus the 1-up you mention in this video.

There's a Life Mushroom back behind the tree on the starting area. That's also worth 1,000 points.

Actually you're supposed to leave the mobs at 1:25, and go up the building first instead. Then kill the 3 mobs on the bridge, jump down, and land on one of the heads of the mobs down there. You get more points that way! But this worked for you aswell :)

There is another 1-Up mushroom under that bridge at the beginning with the 3 octoombas in a row. You have to crouch down to fit under there but it is worth 1000 points.

@redhondachic Under the bridge, there's a one up, if you crouch and walk, you can get the one up. Just thought I'd share. And, there's a tree with a question coin on top, if you crawl up, it releases a few coins. Then there's a life-shroom behind the large tree, and the one up on top of the last tree, as you know.
