Not an easy cover and I would have to say it was an excellent effort. Damien Rice is a tough act to follow. All in All very nice. For a lovely version in Brazilian Portuguese search Ana Carolina -Sue Jorge blowers daughter. Even if you can't understand the language, the music and their beautiful voices as well as the natural beauty of the Brazilian Portuguese language is guaranteed to move you.

Omg, he and Damien Rice is soooooo different. :D I love both versions. This, I love because it's so... Gary, it's soo him, and the original version shows Damien fully, so... no difference, but still, they're not the same. Don't compare, it ruins it all :)

You have it all wrong. Damien Rice wrote this song in 2000-2001, and Ana Carolina did a cover of it with Seu Jorge in 2004. Damien Rice wrote the original, the man is genius as a songwriter.
