@occckid123 Actually, I don't believe the clutch was slipping. Having experience in DCT M3, they often spin the tires when you hit second gear if you floor it through first gear and hit second at full throttle. I believe it was the tires breaking lose.

The car got ~ 3350km. 350km is the tripadvice you could reset whenever you want. So I think there are no km-problems and pushing the car this way.

Yes, things will be different, like the price for example. I only try to say with the same amoute of money, you will get a bether car from a bimmer. Engenering - bimmer, beauty - audi, confort - merc. But of course, thats only my opinion, fortunatly not all think the same.

you can easily get a badass- bmw for a good price used, hell if you want a new bmw you can get a m3 for 55k tops

argubley their best car. and it will out perform any of the select few of top japanese cars, with the gtr as an exception. it will also out perform most mercedes that are priced under 60k

this is why i love the m3 so much- plus its got a nice rich history

@reppin49dank An m3 is acutely faster on a circuit than a sl55 or sl63, it is light, agile, perfectly balanced and the engine revs higher than them both which is perfect for the track. The SL is a heavy car and a gran tourer, whilst the M3 is a sports car, GT bad for track, sports car good for track. Very different machines.

For example, the M3 appears slower than say an R8 with V8, but is actually quicker in a straight line because it has an excellent power to weight ratio.

But if you put for example the c 63 amg with the M3 on a circuit, the m3 beats the merc easily.The merc is in my opinion a blutal engine, but uncontrolabel, the car goes were he wants, and not were you want it.
