@jackoneill45 Do you know that the more recent builds have a function that simulates radiosity? The command to enable it (I'm not sure if it works directly through the log, though) is r_shadow_bouncegrid 1.
@strangejourney101 The QRP textures (Quake Retexturing Project) are the most faithful to the originals. Also I suggest getting the Small mod compilation by Seven, and reflecting overload - and Quake Reforged for the monsters. Look them up at QuakeOne.com

could you list the mods you used? I'm looking for a nice texture pack that doesn't change too much from how it originally was.
