I have SageTV. How did you connect your PC running BeyondTV to the base station? Does the Base control your PC (so you can control the BeyondTV interface?)
SageTV is great. I have used it before. PC and Base station are connected through a router via LAN cables (wireless should also work if you have LFB20). The Base controls the PC through IR signals. See the link in my comments for detailed instructions.
Ack! very confusing :-( I have my sagetv controlled by a tivo remote that I trained with my USB-IRT but I am not following how girder is implemented within the Location Free Base.
You don't need girder if you use USB-IRT. I had to use girder because that's the only software that allowed me to recognize tivo remote using Streamzap IR receiver.
