This game was like MW2 but in a helicopter. Meaning it wasnt that great.

Had they taken some addvice from the ace team, and maybe had us fight an on rushing russian invasion of Europe it might have been a much better game !

i love this game but cant get past the part when you have to defend the hall from the heavy tanks that cant be destroyed by the hydra missiles ive tryed the hellfire but i dont have enough of them to destroy all of them it just the turret left

@douboymkIII its hard on veteran or realistic. but its not realistic by any means. the entire setup of the game isnt realistic. apaches dont go flying around like crazy mofos on a shooting rampage. nor do they fire 8 hellfires at the same time. you cannot use any instruments and the flightmodel isnt realistic at all.

check out DCS blackshark and compare it with this.

@strontklont too bad DCS Blackshark or whatever its called isn't available to most because pc flight sims are a niche market. They need to release it for consoles like they did Crysis. I'm sure Blackshark is ultra realistic and all that but since only you and a couple others can play it then we aren't missing it.

Nobody in this economy can afford hi-tech gaming rigs unless you have a job, single, and live with mom & dad.

@SuperTwoSeven im sorry m8 but i got a high end gaming rig i do have a job but it only cost me 800 euro. high end hardware isnt as expensive if you A;build your own computer. B: look through the bullshit that all the most expensive brands are the best. just like how everyone thinks apple is supperior in every way becouse its expensive as fuck. with computers: Intel, Nvidea, for example can easely be replaced by ATI and AMD. saves you a shitload of money and you get the same output peformence

@strontklont The thing about realism is hard to debate because it's not the game but the player that can choose how realistic things can be. A good pilot doesn't need to fly around like crazy mofos, they can hit their targets from behind cover or at least from a distance. The thing about DCS Blackshark is that THAT game is a Simulator. No where did this game ever claim to be a Sim at all. It's a console game, and one of the best if you ask me.

@reevesrandall perhaps but there are allot of people interested in finally seeing a simulator that isnt made by microfart wich actually allows to fly a apache the way an apache is flown.. 1 man behind the stick 1 man behind the gun. full control of the electronic warfare suite and systems (its doenst have to be as complicated as in real life but atleast usable) its the stereotype bullcrap that kills helicopter games. you cant shoot 8 hellfires at the time nor is the apache made for headon combat

@strontklont I Hear you.... I think the worst part about this game is the target acquisition. When you're trying to acquire a target you have to just keep hitting the button to go between each target and when there are forty targets or more to go between it gets really frustrating to say the least. They need to make a new game that fixes this problem and allow you to be able to somehow select heavy targets separate from light targets, etc. etc.

@reevesrandall Those little ants on the ground have really accurate RPGs too. AA vehicles can be more armored than tanks too especially in Last Stand.

Respond to this video... This game has great potential too. Hopefully they work out all the bugs, make a better story line, and better online capabilities. Those three things made better would make this game one of the best flying games for any console. I think they should have a couple missions that focus on true Apache tactics. That would be sweet. Like staying low and jumping out and surprising your enemy. The enemies in this game are incredibly accurate and more powerful. sucks

@strontklont I haven't played DCS but you're right, Apaches DO NOT go flying around like this. BUT it's a good scenario and very challenging. Don't hate yourself Atomic, just hate ammunition. Apaches are built (in reality) with greater target acquisition systems, not the bullshit ones on here that make you cycle through targets. A real Apache would classify the highest threat and cycle through FOR YOU while you coordinate flight controls and communications.

@reevesrandall the DCS series fully simulate real aircraft and each title they bring out is focused on a single aircraft. it can be play in arcade mode but the sim mode has the exact same handling as the real deal including all the switches,nobs displays and instruments in the cockpit.

@strontklont There's no balance of combatants either. I hate it how 1-2 Apache teams can take on large-scale forces with no other air or ground support. Some missions are OK with this, such as "Lord of War".

a trick guys for blowup heavy tanks. Increase sensibility on mouse for gunner and fly over they, Z for stabilize and fast shot

this mission + sharks in the water ( possible even more ) made me wanne cry, they just made no sence.. this mission actually giving me the feelings that i hate myself for getting the game, cuz i am starting to hate it...
