there has been so much written about desert storm concernig elvis defending himself against those stories. that was the colonels fault elvis got mad on stage as the colonel didnt let elvis talk to the press. any of the memphis mafia could have talked to press on elvis behalf but they didnt do so. therfore the only means for elvis to defend his honor was to do onstage. that took alot of courage. cstanchik
