I just had this done and it was not that bad lol Yes they did all this stuff but i was totally numb so i didn't feel anything. The biggest complaint i had was having to hold my mouth open and hearing the grinding noise.

Too bad for you, what with all the bitching and moaning about pain and all. You should have found a dentist with a Waterlase. Crown lengthening in 10% the time, no scalpels and no stitches. Heals in no time and is about as uncomfortable as having your teeth cleaned. Better luck next time!

I had a crown lengthening done almost 3 weeks ago and can say it's really not that bad, compared to what I've had done already. Hitting a deer on a motorcycle has left me with 4 root canals, 3 implants that took 3 surgeries for all 3 implants, and a crown lengthening, so far... I'm tired of the dentist chair.

Sounds like a blastie blast! The worst I probably had was with a different dentist while getting a crown in. She kepy on making my mouth open wider than it humanly should, and expected me to hold it for a long time. They be some crazy betches in the dentistry these days!
