I went to the London Film Museum myself a few weeks back and all my childhood memories came flooding back as I walked round the exhibition and marveled at all my favourite movie monsters.I'm going to have to buy the Jason and the Argonauts Blu-ray, I've already bought The Valley of Gwangi on DVD since going to the LFM Harryhausen exhibition.
What the heck ever happened to the "MAGIC LAMP" seen in the SEVENTH VOYAGE OF SINBAD"? Any replicas out there anyone any ideas? Like the ark of the covenant in real life -it's a mystery!
wow this is sooo cool, A live size Medusa no way!!, that would probably scare the cr_p out of me lol, I also went to the Los angeles motion picture Academy exhibit for ray Harryhausen and true there is very few original models but its pretty cool still to be up close to some of them
its funny how you didnt care about the no photography sign but its there for pictures and its really good i recomend it to any people who are thinking about it and awesome video brings back good memories lol
This looks MUCH better than the exhibit currently in Los Angeles at the Motion Picture Academy. L.A. only had a bunch of resin reproductions and very few of the actual models...Thanks so much for posting this!
@RedHatchetFilms The Exhibition is running in London until June 2011 and admission is covered by the normal admission fee, so, you have time to plan a trip to see it.
The camera died and fell over of sheer awesomeness when seeing a statue of gold of Ray Harryhausen.
