The low E is the thickest and is also known as bottom string followed by A the next thickest string and so on.....

during the second verse, the palm muted part, you played each of the cords I believe 8 times. I'm almost positive that each of those cords are supposed to only be played 4 times each. Give the song another listen and you'll be able to tell.

Instead of wasting time by telling how to hold the chords- you just say the power chords - they all have the same shape!

You could spend more time showing how you strumming in the chorus and maybe show more how to play the last part.

hey, i had the same problem as you when i was first starting out, still do sometimes, i've only been playing for a year, but basically all it is is practice. practicing moving your fingers quick enough from the chord to chord. sucks, and it can take a while, but you'll get there in the end =]

also this hppend with my very first guitar but sumthin hapend (and it may happen 2 evry guitar) but when i tuned it and it was definetely in tune it always sounded out of tune now i ent 2 the local guitar shop n they fixed it but i forget wat it was caled this could possibily wats wrong wif urs

this hasnt happend on my new guitar as ive only had it since xmas

how do you play power chords. i watched this and it didn't really make a lot of sense. because whenever i put my fingers on low E 2nd fret, 4th fret A and 4th fret D and strum it just makes a weird sound. like it doesn't sound right. any help? (do you play all the strings?)

you rest your pointerfinger over the rest of the strings so they'll mute (don't press just rest =)and try to strum only the first 3 that's a power chord :) Instead of playing all the strings

this video would be much more helpfull with a better camera position! It's much easier to understand what you say, if the viewer can see your mouth at the same time... The camera position is very akward, it shows half of your face... kinda annoying
