  • What an awesome group. I remember them from back in the day - what happened to them - they were SOOOOO talented!

  • @Connie0907 They actually still perform now and then except for Melvin who is the only original member not still in the group. Kevon had a hit album 24/7 in '99 and he just released an album called Who Knew :o)

  • I really love that every couple in this video is a different shade of brown ( and white and everything). It's such a feel good, multicultural vibe.

  • Can't stop, I can't stop, iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii feeeell...

  • Check out those Temptation dance moves..LOL! I love this

  • Another amazing group from the 90's.

  • OMG my fave song in 2nd grade.......good times

  • MEMORIES!!!

  • Awesome!

    *Peace*

  • The guy in the green jacket and striped shirt reminds me so much of Ron (Darryl M. Bell) from "A Different World".

    :P

  • Now this is real music, with real naturally beautiful women in the video and real singers that sang the crap out of their song.

  • Can't stop (I can't stop)

  • (music) lol..........dont mind me im a lil drunken!!!

but i still cuts for dis track!!!!

  • real musah!!!!

  • Back in the day, these dudes were opening for Whitney Houston on her 'I'm Your Baby Tonight' tour. Arista records should have done more with them.

  • this came out when i was 7 n i loved it back then! Late 80's early 90's music is the best! they actually had talented ppl with record deals not dancers or pretty faces.

  • R&B had CLASS back then

so missed this type of music

    makes me depressed just thinking

back to these days and how much

fun they were and how they're gone

    forever.

  • them babyface genes are pretty strong!

  • I love this song so much and I really am glad that you posted this. Thanks a billion buddy for posting this video for everyone.

  • I was 6 years old when this song came out. I still remember my older siblings playing this song over and over.

  • Every Sunday (RnB chillout day), I thank the lord for bringing After 7 into our lives.

And im not really that religious!

  • Comment removed

  • This song is great. I remember this.

  • A+! quality audio & video

  • Amazing. Look at the natural, real-looking girls in this video and look at the fake-looking ones in today's videos!

  • i agree i aint a lezz but now days these girls r jsut so fake were as the girls in this vid is so natural

  • allizone you took the words out of my mouth man.... Good memories too bad we have to get old... LOL

  • This music just bring me back to a time when the world was so much more comfortable if that makes sense.

  • I still can't figure out how I got away with performing this at my elementary school talent show when I was 12...

  • Yeah thats pretty funny especially since the song mentions "making love with you for the first time"lol. They probably did'nt care, lol

  • I miss the GOOD OLD DAYS! The are GOOD! LOVE THE EDMOND FAMILY! GOD Bless! Lol!

  • It's Babyface's bros.

  • When I was a lil girl in the 80's kevon edmonds was my favorite vocalist... Is this Trey Songz daddy I keep asking myself.

  • Flashback to my rollerskating days in the early 90's!

  • I have loved this song and video clip since intermediate days, it just makes me wana dance with excitement like you know that there is love out there like that, with passion, desire, excitement and a soft side to it that makes you skwirmish inside and funny that makes you wana dance coz youre happy.

  • Ahhhh! the 90s, was the bomb!

  • Very good song from After 7, but personally I think that Jazzy B remix , Soul to Soul is even better. Check it out if you can.

  • Where can I get that mix?

  • I have it on a 7" in my collection, will look it up and send it to you, give me ur e-mail.

    P

  • @kosstmoran its on itunes for 79p :-)

  • its not that all music now a days sucks is just the ones that don't get overshadow by the bulge of music ever growing and fast pace to digest it all at once...

i hear songs from underground and mainstream that need a lil more attention to it...

  • This should be the new Rick Roll

  • Love this song.. sound like babyface huh? Thats cus 2 of these guys are Baby Faces Brothers Nap town in the house!!!

  • Beautifull song!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting!! WOW!! These were the days! It's weird to know my jams are now oldies... OMG!! Can't believe this is happening!! LOL

  • This is a definite classic. They were jammin... You don't get music like this anymore. Our children and grandchildren are SOL. (Shit outta luck!)

  • @ICOMEOUTSMOKIN After 7 is one of my favorite bands... After EWF and Parliament of course lol... Favorite singers are Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder... I am 18!!!

  • Senior year of high school.

    Brings back a-lot of memories.

  • Anyone have a link to an mp3 for this song?

  • love this music :-) means something!!! <3

  • those are babyface bros. minus tah 1 n tha orange. <33 this song !!

  • went to a club (not long ago) hardly anyone was dancing, as soon as DJ started spinning this kind of old skool..........LOL..... you had to almost fight for a spot on the floor.......this is music people!!!!!

  • @msmad2u What club was this? It good to see they know good music when they hear it and don't just dance to anything, especially this nonsense they play today. That is why I don't do clubs. What's the point? I can have a few drinks in my own house with my man and at least listen to my own music. Saves the $20 door charge right?

  • kevons voice is amazing 1st tenor.rare!

  • Holy can't believe this is nearly 20 years old already.

  • i love the early 90 jams. . . i like playing them out at the bar where everyone acts like they aren't into it but they secretly are love it

  • something about these early 90 jams. . . i just love them. i like to go out and play them randomly at the bar everyone pretends their not into it but they always secretly are.

  • these men were sexy bac in the day i would fuck the shit out of kevon edmonds

  • The first single from his new CD is called Oh

  • Kevon Edmonds has his new solo CD in stores he still sounds Real its cool hes bringing back the real Music

  • this version is better than the one on the album, its funny its only available on their Best Of cd from 97

  • This use to be the Jammm!!!

  • music needs to go back to these days......

  • kevon, is fine as hell. i think that's the one with the high voice. is that correct. the one singing the song in this video. if so, he coming out with a new cd this year

  • I swear I love this song but- I can't watch the video. When he 'whopped it out' at 1:14 I dry heaved a little...

  • LOL

  • YES this SO does scream 90's. So corny but at the same time, they don't give a damn! Seriously, it is awesome that way because it is more about the music and less about the aesthetics. Like, those guys could never be popular these days just because they don't look the greatest. But their music and voices sure kick the hell out of these "R&B" artist these days.

  • Very true. They didn't HAVE to worry about some dumb-ass "image." The music spoke for itself.

  • babyfaces lil brother was lead singer

  • he's actually a year older than babyface. he did an interview on to, joyner morning show where he talked about all of his brothers. He said he was number 4 and babyface was number5,but he wasnt the baby. He was next to the youngest out of all the kids.

  • Yep the vid screams 90's, the art deco style, the loud fluorescent colors,. even the cinematography looks old school. meaning they used film instead of the very boring and glossy digital video. i love looking at 90's music vids. they're such a great snap shot of that great decade, like wise the 80's.

  • Definitely an early 90's jam! Reminds me of the time in life when I had to bribe my sister to take me to the mall and beg her to leave me alone while my friends and I tried to pick up on chicks and pretend we were cool lol. Thank you for posting :)

  • Weren't those the best times?

  • I remember there were people who said they hated the video (might have been another video post), but i personally love it...it's just so....just so 90's! lol

  • I use to love them. I enjoyed all their music.

  • colby caitly BUBBLY

  • Love this song. Reminds me of fun times with one of my boyfriends Mikey.

  • I love after 7; this is such a great song! Melvin and Kevon our Baby Face's brothers. They our from Indianapolis.

  • i been only ten when this song came still love til this day......lol !

  • I am BLESSED to have grown up in the

80's..yo be able to enjoy this AWSEOME CLASSIC music.. End of an era.. cuz todays music sad to say is trash..

  • Late 80's thou the 90's we miss you!!!!

  • I too love After 7 and wish some of the music of today was as good as this. I have a sad story. They were set to perform at a university and when the lead act didn't show, they performed anyway for the fans. After 7 was talented. Too bad much of the crowd walked out on them and never got to see them perform, which was incredibly rude in my opinion.

  • i love after 7

  • I may only be 16, but I agree with everything that has been said so far. I'm not gonna lie, I definitely like a lot of the current music and keep up to date with things, but there is absolutely nothing that can compare to some good old 90's R&B, in my opinion. And that is so true about people nowadays getting record deals with no true talent and putting out songs that have no meaning or depth. It seems like everyone has gotten so caught up in the party songs just because they're so easy to sell.

  • i feel you there im 16 too. and i dnt even listen do current r&b, i like da old shyt! haha. dey dnt sing about nuthn no more

  • yep..love me some old school r&b..nothin like it...

  • This was the song that introduced my to After 7 and I've been a fan ever since. I completely agree that music as I know it is gone. It's good to hear this again.

  • Man, these songs will always be classics. Music today aint the same. It's sad that our music today has NO meaning to it.

  • to bad music nowadays is no where close to being this good.........folks actually had talent back in the day unlike now.....seems like anyone can get a record deal

  • fell in love with kevon edmonds on this song. and two of babyface brothers was apart of after 7.

  • THESE are real singers... Nothing like today...

  • i love this song so much!!!!

  • yeah defetnelly is about good old times when I listen this song one & more times damn what a times!!!!!

  • yess i love this video... mad wack lol

  • Beatiful song this is...and thats babyfaces brother! The voices are almost identical.

These guys had it all...class and talent.

    R&B is garbage now.

  • work!

  • these are some of the GREATS YA'LL!!! No auto-tune JUST GREAT SANGERZzz

  • You all hear that, no listen, shh listen! Man this is real music at it's best! Real music has been replaced with "how fast can you take it off, and if not off by now, I'm on to the next man or girl music! Bring back class, style and when the pants didn't sag, but the way you dressed, was part of your showmanship and coolness! Peace!

  • Last Night.....

    :)

  • bring the 90's to 2009 AND BEYOND

  • Also, classic song from a great group of singers.

  • New Jack Swing is an underappreciated, classic era, in music. I hope sooner or later New Jack style music gets the credit it deserves.

  • r&b isn't just the same! these songs had real lyrics and great music!

  • Awesome. I dig this song!

  • Hell. . .yeah. 90s, please come back. For the sake of music, please come back!

  • feel this way about a friend of mines! but he"s my friend i cant b feeling him like that!!! lol and i cant stop!!!

  • The 90's will forever be the greatest!

  • Songs like this were great to roller skate to back in the day....I was at the local rink

    almost every weekend,lol

  • Is that Babyface in here or his brother that looks like him?

  • that's his brother. kevon is doing the lead vocals, and keith is background, not sure who the other is though. (sorry)

hope i helped a little. lol

  • Actually, Kevon and the other guy, Melvin, are Babyface's older brothers. Keith (Mitchell) is said to be LA Reid's cousin.

  • Who was the rapper that sampled part of this song?

  • @leaper33 someone sampled this who?

  • Sweet beat! They were jammin!!!!!

  • kevon edmonds is a beast...sorry

  • hell yea...out of the 3 brothers, him, babyface, and keith, i think kevon has the best vocals

  • he does

  • kenny edmonds is a beast...

  • I was 13 when this came out in 1990, and they used to play this song and video like crazy back in the day.

  • " ICan't Stop

  • I'm only 24 but i remember this song. i love after 7

  • I hear/see people all the time bitchin' about how good music, good r&b, good pop, good rock, etc. all died after the 90's. I'm so grateful to have lived through the 80's and 90's and I'm grateful to look back and think "yeah this is it....one hell of a good jam". I give a wordly huge thanks to those who keep the music and videos going. Its so nice to have them around today.

  • one of the best r'b jams of all time.
