  • This is my favorite movement of the four. It is an extremely powerful and moving piece, and the characters I am allowed to type isn't enough to describe the meaning its brilliance gives to me and to the player. Bach would be proud. I am determined to learn how to play this on the piano. I WILL do it!

  • "SLEEP" ah shit I just lost Celes! "SLEEP" ahhh shit now I just lost Locke!

  • inb4 Sephiroth is a faggot-ass biiiitch.

  • Bach called and he hates hates HATES that Kefka took his music without asking. :)

  • @cynicsfaith But I'm sure he loves the result.

  • It's so beautiful... Until the get healed for 9999 HP, and you're hit with Merton/Meltdown...

    :)

  • @IheartGardevoir

Ever heard of flame shields and Paladin Shield?

  • @AngelofKaos Well duh, it's not like I haven't played this game god knows how many times. :P

  • This and Dancing Mad 4 are my favarite Dancing Mads lol

  • Bach's 'little fugue' in G minor, listen to it and compare

  • @awakeminds isn't it more like the Toccata and Fugue?

  • This part of the battle always relaxed me.

  • I love that the bass at around 00:29 starts playing the melody from Kefka's theme, first in major and then the second time in minor. So powerful!

  • .... castlevania anyone?....

  • Church music. I'm just kidding. But, I do like this organ, and this specific organ sound does sound like a church organ. And, the music is sort of the classical style of music, sort of like what you would hear in a Cathedral. Sort of.

  • @consolate1 Baroque, not classical. This is written in the style of Bach (I hope I don't come across as rude, I'm honestly not trying to o.o). But totally, this is modeled after Bach's organ works (namely his toccata and fugue in d minor) which are written in the church style that he learned to write in

  • @Zapalta Thanks. I was wondering where it came from. And, I know you were not trying to be rude.

  • @consolate1 :) no prob. if you want to check out the piece I think inspired (or at least influenced) this, you can find it here: watch?v=Zd_oIFy1mxM&feature=related

  • my favourite part is from 2:26 to 2:54, í don't know much about music but this i think is amazing

  • Bad cover image, the JP one is 1000 times better

  • @kw1ksh0t its the original, your not a gamer if you give a fuck about that

  • @dragondook I konw it is the original, but the JP original is MUCH better

  • @dragondook It's not the original genius it was only called FF3 in it's inital release in the U.S. and like all FFs it was first released in Japan which had a better cover. And don't dare say I'm not a gamer I don't actually care about box art myself but no one appointed you to be the supreme authority on who is or is not a gamer.

  • 00:29-00:45

Kefka's theme in a higher key is playing in the background.

  • @porygonlover322 nice ear, I never would of heard that without you pointing it out.

  • At Neosac:

If FF8 and 10 are your favorite themes, why are you watching this? All other messages are praising this game, so keep quiet.

  • @colorblind1148 ALL HAIL GOLBEZ!!

    HAIL GOLBEZ HAIL GOLBEZ!!

    golbez is ff4 btw

  • i was always impressed on how real the organ sounded. when you actually play the game it has a reverb echo to it, making it sound authentic. it's fantastic!

  • Brings back good memories of whuppin some Kefka ass!

  • This is my favorite part, I'm trying so hard to learn it on keyboard.

  • This part is over the top. Overwhelming. And just magnificent.

  • my two favorite final battle themes for the ff game series are:

    The Extreme (Ultimecia- FF8)

    Decisive Battle (Yu Yevon- FF10)

  • I always felt it was a bit more powerful if you think about it like this: Imagine you're making your way up to fight Kefka, climbing through the tiers, and reverberating throughout you hear the follows of Kefka playing their music and joining in song, singing to their god and praying for -your- destruction. It makes me think the music seems regal and religious because it...well, is. They're worshiping their god as you climb to destroy it.

  • good interpretation

  • Sort of the opposite of FF IV (or Earthbound also) if you interpret it that way, since in FF IV everyone stands at Mysidia and prays and you come back to life, while in FF VI the Kefka fanatics pray against you.

  • Kinda like how Ganon played the Organ on your way up the tower in Ocarina of Time

  • exactly like that!

  • This music sorta gives you the feeling that you are ascending into the heavens on your way to fighting the god that Kefka has become. It's very beautiful and I think actually incorporates some music from actually classical pieces.

  • It sounds like a demontic god! I love that final boss music, better than One Winged Angel!

  • why EVERY ONE have to F****** mention One Winged Angel in EVERY DAMN DANCING MAD VIDEO?????!?!?!?!?!!!!!

  • cause dancing mad is better <:3

  • I know, it really IS. Even so EVERYBODY have to talk about OneWingedAngel....¬¬'

  • Because they are both the ending boss themes and people naturally compare them to each other.

  • Why not compare FFIV with FFVI?

Both final boss themes are awesome. (though FFVI´s one is better)

  • gives the feeling that you're sooooooo close to fighting Kefka as a GOD!

  • This was one hell of a climax.

  • @Colddirector That's what she said.

  • Comment removed

  • goes from funeral music to happy church music

  • ...and then back to funeral music again! lol

  • this is the best part for dancing love it
