The Old Firm is just about as passionate as you could get, it dominates English derbies regardless of the money difference. @EddieFoleyCSC That is due to Celtic and Rangers being the only two big teams in Scotland, I'm not denying Bolton don't have the best of fans - but the English Premier League absolutely dicks on the SPL through quality, passion and popularity. Celtic and Rangers are the only two big things in the SPL, and I doubt they would finish top 10 in the Premier League, says it all when Gary Hooper - the man from Scunthorpe is your best player!

@SteRDLK celtic are one of the biggest clubs in the world regardless of the league we play in, we have history better than most english clubs and have the best support in the uk, I dont care which team you support, our average attendance is more than most english clubs also... if we were to play in the epl and we had the funding that english clubs have then im sure that a lot of the worlds better players would want to come to celtic rather than any shitty under acheiving english team

Our league may be worthless dung to you, but it's because there is no investment in there and as I said, both of the top two clubs only get paid a pittance, compared to what the teams in the English Premiership get. Nothing any of us can do to change that.

On a worldwide scale, I definitely think Celtic are up there among the biggest clubs in the world, which is great, considering the size of the country we live and play football in.

@SteRDLK for a start, Celtic and rangers are equal in this city hence the reason there is such a big rivalry, i'd say for a 2 team country celtic have done pretty well for them selves domestically and in europe considering the difference of budget between us and any other foreign/english club, also with dud tournaments all over the world, since we are from a 2 team country we shouldnt get noticed as much then eh? but we did, still do and always will be one of the most popular clubs in the world

@BriannMullenn Like I said, because your country is 2 teams, you had far more opportunities in the early European Cup years than other clubs from better leagues to build experience. And because of Rangers' success in 2008, your country has a better co-efficient than the current league should.
The reputation of the Old Firm as a rivalry is why the league is noticed in the first place. A rivalry that wouldn't be as big if it wasn't a 2 team league.
