Not that I like Campbell at all but oddly enough when I briefly met him at SFU wearing my BC-STV button he was very supportive in his comments. Don't know if officially the BC Liberals have come out in support of BC-STV but it would seem Campbell supports it. Although as mentioned in the video Campbell did get screwed by First Past the Post once.
Voters need to get rid of the antiquated First-Past-the-Post voting system which creates so-called elected dictatorships where power is concentrated in one person and his/her immediate advisers.
I note that only the Green Party of BC has come out in support of 'Yes' on the BC-STV. It's too bad the NDP wouldn't come out and support this, since as a party they are in favour of electoral reform. I think this time 'Yes' is going to get the 60% in spite (or maybe because of?) of the fact that neither big party is endorsing it...
I hate to burst your bubble but the fast ferries worked just fine. They were built to DNV standards making them them the most technically proficient ships ever built in BC. The money spent on them stayed in BC and some of it might even had ended up in your pocket. They were killed because of politics and the fact they "weren't fuel efficient". Turns out they were more fuel efficient than the German ferries.
I can't believe you cancelled this show, CityTV.
