@mrjost55 they could have done it alot faster, but there wasn't any reason for doing so. they were filling up the tank, cleaning wind shield etc. while the tires was changed, so there was no rush. Also, running for 24h is dangerous, so it's important to use those extra 2-3 seconds and making sure the wheel is bolted perfectly on.

Look at the stands, WTF. its almost filled in the middle of the night for a race with left and right turns while sitting on bleachers. Still 40 seconds is not too bad when you consider this is a 24 hour race and not a 3.5 hour race.
