  • My color guard rifle was 10 lbs! I had to use a load of tape but that was the only way to weigh it down enough so I didn't over power and over throw the girls on my squad!! So, yes, there are 10 lb rifle in color guard too!!! Military rifles are real but weight wise, color guard rifles can be JUST as heavy! Why is it that ROTC people think try are better than color guard??

  • Crazy 8's :)

  • get it lol I actually just came across this video of you and died lol hope all is well with you buddy ! :) JT

  • I really wish my schoos guard could corporate rifles into our routine it seems like fun

  • Mmmm. Yes please! ;)

  • Took me a while to realize that this was real, lol IMPRESSIVE:

  • So, I was looking to learn rifle since we're just starting a winterguard this year at my school. In the past, all we've done is flags. And I stumbled upon this. I haven't learned much because I can't seem to stop staring at this man:)

  • I just love watching this hottie spin topless!!! lol i love Color Guard!!!!!! Call Me!!! haha

  • Let's get this straight, military rifle spinning is MUCH different from color guard in a number of ways. One: military rifles are indeed real, heavier, and harder to spin and takes more strength. Color guard rifles are specifically designed to be lighter for the reason of it allows us to dance with them. Two: military ONLY spins rifles, while color guard dances, and spins flags and sabres as well as rifles. Color guard is very different from military for many different reasons, leave it at that.

  • Try watching some of this guys other rifle videos and maybe you'll catch a hint that its not being compared to military rifles.

  • Im really getting pissed reading all the asshole comments about how this is "gay" and "weak" and how you guys can do the same things with military rifles. Yea, we get it... Your rifles are heavier. We don't give a shit. The rifles are not used for the same reason. These are used for guard as a visual effect and need to be lighter. No ones is attempting to imitate military rifles in these videos... Their demonstrating color guard techniques. So try understanding something before talking shit.

  • U are super cute, and u can spin too..lol

  • nice lightweght buddy.

  • Comment removed

  • Ammmazing!!!

  • i wish we had guys this hot in our guard lol

  • That was cool. How do u do the 2 hand thing? (it's bad.... I have been on my high school's guard for 3 seasons and I could barely do a rifle drop spin)

  • Winter guard is a performance art. that means dance. military spins are done with a heavy rifle and for percision and stiffness. very few military guys are capable of tossing a six on a military syle rifle. yet they can easily toss a nine or a ten with a winter guard rifle. however. military doesn't do foreward handsprings to catch a toss, or catch in the splits. they are for two entirely different purposes. so why does it matter what his rifle weighs.

  • XD im in rotc and sure ours are heavier but who gives a crap lol...

  • For all the ROTC, we dont give a FUCK how much your rifle weighs. Ours are light for a reason so we can do more stuff with it and colorguard and ROTC are totally different so deal with it already.

  • what the heck??? im 14 in 9th grade weigh 85 pounds and is 5feet tall, i attened oxon hill high school(best drill team in the nation, literally) and we use 1903 a4 springfeild daisy rifles the weigh 12-15 pounds and i can spin a triple, s there is no excuse why this MAN can only use this 1 pound toy.

  • @iruleallday who cares??? If your as great as you say you are you would be practicing not putting other people down especially since your only 14. Btw color guard and drill team are TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS!!!

  • @iruleallday the rifles actually weigh 3 lbs, and i can do a five on a military rifle. and I can do a 7 on a guard rifle. 1st year, been doing it for 6 months. Stfu.

  • Comment removed

  • @iruleallday Post a video, because I'm extremely excited to see how well you guys do. And, as well, when you "spin" those three's, please catch tip. All the cool kids do. =D

  • I love how military men are watching a shirtless man in sweat pants spin a colorgaurd rifle and judging it... shouldn't you be watching videos of the military or... shirtless women... get off our dicks

  • @jacobross25 bahaha this made my life happy.

  • I love how military men are watching are shirtless man spinning a color guard rifle in their spare time and judging it... shouldn't you be watching videos of military people spinning rifle? Or women or something...

  • @doug905 then you dont know military history when you make comments about what does rifle tossing have to do with anything and or bettering our country...dont be so insecure about yourself..which is why you make the comments that you do..be respectful for other peoples craft even if you dont agree with it because i am sure some people dont agree with yours..whatever that may be. : ) just some friendly advise.

  • @benjityme You should really learn to spell advice, but also regard the fact that you probably have no idea what rifle tossing has to do with the history of our military. I'm pretty sure we fought with them, not twirled them.

  • @doug905

Just so you KNOWW...That actually if you use something called your brain and the internet you will find that spinning was originated from the military and drill teams .. from that colorguard transformed to a performing art with music instead of marching and sole timing from a captain..... just sayin.... FIO

  • @doug905 hmm... lets see, colorguard with band is for show and other competitions, rotc is with a different rifle and not really for show as much... i'd like to see you dance with a rotc rifle. the weighting being different doesnt work. oh and just sayin' i can do both. hooray for being on rotc drill team and rifle line in band so fuck y'all.

  • @doug905 I'm also pretty sure I'm not in the military. I'm, in fact, completely positive that I participate in a sport, the Sport of the Arts, that evolved from what you still do hundreds of years later. I know that people are really resilient to changes, but it might do us some good to understand that things, do indeed, change. I invite you to show me a video of military color guard achieving what we do on the floor at World Championships. I appreciate all the military does for our country.

  • Double Time is one of my favorite tings to do on riffle!!!

  • haha you are all funny, i have been in color guard & winter guard, now im in an independent winter guard so i know what hard work is. but hey im all about USMC too and would have joined the silent drill team but they dont allow woman in ti :( , so stop talking about each other and who is better and who is not. they are both awesome.

  • lol, ive held one of those rifles before.

weigh like MAYBE a pound and a half.

the ones we spin at our school are 12 or 13. (though they feel more like 8,5 somehow, i guess cause their weighted well)

  • @CrimsonOmen407 yeah there are two different styles of rifles spun. It depends if you are in an ROTC drill team or a Colorguard (Marching Band). The Marching band ones are lighter so they can toss 7 and 8 rotations, as well as manipulating the rifle within movement and dance work, for floor competitions. More similar to baton twirling than military I'd say.

  • ok i'm trying to figure out double time but i can't. i can do single handed like once or twice but double handed kills me. how do you do it?

  • zuuu how much do those rifles weigh, im my schools trick rifle commander and we use 13.5 lb rifles, thats the fun stuff were if u fuck up, well your basicly fucked up. woo pain.

  • you're hottttttttt

  • dude weres ur shirt

  • yer camera... tis shitty...

  • Hey ROTC guys, I have a question. If this was a video of a girl doing the same thing would you be saying (or even thinking for that matter) the thing's you've posted to this video? There's no reason to be so hateful. And all the trash talk isn't really building up a good reputation for the military or ROTC either. You don't see colorguard people posting rude things to your videos, right? Grow up a little bit.

  • @MeggoMyWaffles i would think for a girl or guy try using a 9 pound rifle and there would be no difference based on gender because there are girls who can whoop my ass when it comes to spinning a real rifle ie. Andrea bryant

  • dude how long have you been spinning? that's really good

  • you make that wooden gun lol?

  • DUDE the "military" people who spin rifles arent even doing anything for our country! they are just a bad version of colorguard:)

  • @ oside53 ummm yeah we dont do the same thing...and maybe we dont want to wear heavy wool uniforms and be controlled by a drill sargeant...everyone knows its two different things so why all the hate?

  • Good shit good shit...

  • Hey, I was wondering if you could explain how to do one handed doubletime for me? It's hard to watch your hands and the rifle in the video because it's so fast. I know how to do skips and regular doubletime, I'm sure I could figure it out if you helped me :) Please & Thank you.

  • @vivalabam2012 one handed double time is just like skips, but instead of two rotations per skip, its only 1 ½. so you grab under the strap, then upside down on the bolt, then strap again.

  • u suck u fucking peace of shit!!!

  • @kfoimf jealous much?

  • pussy rifle! get a springfield with a bayonet boy.

  • im using my brothers account :3 excuse the screen name haha

but what i wanted to say.. was can you please do a tutorial on one handed double time !! please :)

    GO COLORGUARD/ PAGEANTRY

  • It was all very cool and all, but I noticed that when you started doing the one handed double time it seems as if you started leaning into it.

Its probably fixed by now, this was posted four years ago, but this comment could be helpful to new rifle spinners.

  • whos the fag with no shirt?

  • ummm thats a wooden rifle right? the real ones are waay harder to spin with im just saying

  • This video is trippy, looks like the rifle is spinning backwards when you get to the D.T. hah.

  • made me laugh, very good

  • That was amazinggggggg! :D

  • lmao....

  • i have so much trouble doing skips after one handed double time X[ its just so fast @_@ i just LOVE! how u do two handed double time XD

  • did you forget to put on a shirt that day?

  • nice rifle spinning, something top guard members can do that military cant is throw a high count (being a triple and higher xD) and slide into the splits while catching the rifle

  • the reason why the military cant is because going into the splits in the middle of an exhibition would be straight up homo.

  • seriously...what kind of military exhibition would have its soldiers go into a split at the end anyway? That's ghey.

  • that much rocking with so little weight but other than that you get a 3 out of 10

  • That was really good.

I wish I still knew how to do double time.

  • wow that was FAWKING amazing :D

  • ok guys guard cant do what the military does and the military sure as hell cant do what the guard does. and some of our rifles are pretty damn heavy and the military isnt out there throwing 8's on a rifle

  • Their rifles are WAY heavier than marching rifles so if someone on a military guard COULD throw an eight...that would be hot. The marching rifles are meant to be less heavy so the guard can perform more intricate tricks and stuff...but military guard can do some pretty decent stuff with their weapons.

  • no but the military throws triples with 9.8lbs rifles with live K-bars without seeing what the heel theyre doing. And youre right the military doesnt do what gaurd does cuz were not exactly in to wearing multi-colored tights and make-up.

    -USMC Silent Drill Team!

  • @oside53

    I notice you finished with,

    "-USMC Silent Drill Team!"

Quick Question: Could you keep it that way?

  • @oside53 Military rifle throwing. I'm sorry, how is that benefiting our county? Instilling pride and honor in our country? Fruity gun tossing isn't something to gloat about, nor is it helping this country.

  • @doug905 You're a retard it's taught to teach discipline and to teach uniformity 2 very important traits for soldiers to have.

  • @mattnike It doesn't teach discipline, people say Marching band teaches discipline too, get real.

  • @doug905 neither does football,bowling,or golf.

  • @oside53 you should let me teach you a rifle routine from a world colorguard… lol takes more skill than you think.

  • @3guardgirl Not if you're in the military, and used to do guard in high school. :D

  • @3guardgirl i beg to differ

  • @3guardgirl i can throw a 8 with a service rifle. guard is hard, but not harder then military drill.

  • @Ccarcamo713 Throw.....

  • @3guardgirl thats cuz the military rifle is 10 pounds those rifles are 3 ahaaa throwing a doule with a 10 pound rifle is like throwing a 5 with that takes more energy endurence and we have more precision and intensity cuase if you smack that gun as hard as we do youd snap it in half

  • Ok, I was reading the comments and I really hate it that (litterally) EVERY rifle video I watch it has some guy in the military giving people crap. We get it. You're awesome, and our rifles are lighter. Let it go! It still takes skills to even DO it. And don't get me wrong I'm not saying that to be a bitch to military guys, highest respect for them, its just annoying, and people need to just let it go. We know that it is completely different. No one said it was the same.

    Let it go.

  • wow, I cannot agree more.

  • w;Ow what a monster

  • nice it looked so weird when it was spinnin

  • lol unlike all the other ppl who make fun that ur in color guard instead of drill, i say ur pretty good. i hate double time...pisses me off...

  • will someone please send me a vid showing how to spin double time!!!! this one is too fast and i cant see where he puts his hands!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Why do you dumb ROTC people try to compare? It's 2 totally different things. I'd like to see you try to catch a rifle solid and flat without moving.... Apples and oranges dude. Military buffs and people in the sport of winter guard. We can't do what you do but I'm sure you can't do what we do. Relax...... go buzz your head and spit shine your boots while we go and entertain audiences world wide.

  • Ha i like this.. yeah i just finished watching some other "COLOR GUARD" shows or rifle spin n tosses on here and for some reason ppl just keep posting comments about that ROTC's rifles are heavier and what not.. and im just like yeah so what, this is color guard... Hello!..

  • rofl rofl rofl, i give my friend shit too, she on color guard and i on armed ex, shes in rotc too so its friendly competition, im actualy going to try to steal one of her moves for my jrotc routine, ooooo talk about a sin

  • @oakley76ps1 lol are you saying that drill team dosen't entertain world wide? Look up Marine Silent Drill Team

  • @TheDoggyProductions i did wat u asked,

n im srry, kinda got bord.

    too..... dunno

... too clean n not much excitement

yea its kool n all but dunno

i have respect 4 them n all, but

    yea

im more in2 our version of guard

  • @TheDoggyProductions Who cares? Our rifles are lighter so we can do more snazzy tricks, and throw higher than a double. I say what you do is boring, and you look like robots. We entertain audiences all over the world. Get the fuck over yourself.

  • nigga stop hating

  • that's hot

  • Nice but watch the dipping shoulder on the singles and dont cheat the second hand on the 2 handed double time....

    Great muscle control!!! Jason

  • wish i could spin dat well

    :)

  • ummm...okay. i dont understand whats goin on with the ROTC versus Color Guard?! i do both. Color Guard is my first hour and ROTC is my fourth. i spin both rifles.both are hard to spin in many different ways.

  • u should b our coach...

  • are you serious. that shit weights like two pounds.

  • Apparently you've never held a rifle.

  • yes I agree with you, I want to see this guy do that with the rifles that I use. They are about 8 1/2 pounds

  • No you don't.

  • ok man what ever i dont know any thing.

  • You certainly don't know how much a rifle weighs if anything.

  • what ever

  • WHEN I TURNED 5, THEY GAVE ME A PARTY!!!! but it was for my cousin...... we were born on the same day, at the same time, in the same hospital room, from the same vagina.... so i guess we're pretty damn redneck huh!?!? lol...

  • i really really really wish we had guys on my colorguard but it is far from common where i live... =[

  • I'm the first for my school. My director wouldn't let me join marching band color guard, so i started my schools first winter guard.

  • you're good dude!

  • haha this is sweet! we call them spins, double fast, cocktail spins, and flips.! i love the technique

  • And on the left side?

  • Wow! I thought it was cool. The guy is super hott! Plus that alot better than what I can do with my rifle, and that is my 2nd favorite piece of equipment! And it does not matter if you march with band, or do ROTC there is no reason in the world to post comments like that. Its an important activity, but it is still JUST an activity, so chillax.

  • fucking non servise rifle

  • i give u major props, two thumbs up! 5 stars!

  • as for the homophobics....I am straight and i participate in this sport....and my girlfriend marches with me as well nothing beats us marching together and touring together doing what we love.Lets put some logic in your minds. We use lighter equipment because of the level of difficulty our work requires. Try tossing a 7 with your heavy ass shit and catch at port.. i'll wait dont loose a hand now! just because you are insecure about yourself doesn't mean you can put down my fellow guard members.

  • This is for all you ROTC FUCKS that continue to post nasty comments.Hey before you judge on what we do let me put it in words you might be able to understand. What we do is one of the hardest things anyone can do. It takes the highest level of dedication. The things we sacrifice in order to compete in this sport, and yes it is a sport, far out number anything. During the summer we get to tour the entire NATION and see the things this wonderful country has to offer what do you do..masterbate? FUN!

  • There really is no reason to attack people about this.

  • I second your motion!!

  • It's actually very difficult with a 10 pound rifle, after training with one of your little pieces of crap.

C/2Lt Matthew Barhorst, Public Affairs Chief

    OH-91

  • Is there any way you could put up a video on how to do double time spins? I know you use your left hand but I am not sure what to do with it :)

  • he didnt really do a double ... he just moved his hand ....

  • Have you ever heard of color guard, a rifle guard, drum and flag core, or the military drill team? They are all groups that spin real or wood rifles. It is a sport. It is definatley not in the football, basketball, etc... category, but it is still a sport. It has nothing to do with being gay.

  • Okay dick fucks posting to do this with M14s, M1s, and springfields and all that shit, STOP, just fucking STOP god damnit. You don't do shit like this with real rifles, 1. It's fucking hard, 2. You're not required to do it, 3. You'd destroy the fucking rifle. 4. Most real rifles are not modeled on the exterior to perform such, so, just fucking stop.

  • Fail, now look up the rattler guard or and NHSDTC solo or dual routines. Real rifles, you sir, fail.

  • Did you even read my entire comment?...

  • actualy yes you can do this with a real rifle that u like go to the store and buy and when your in drill team or ROTC you use a real one

  • In my MCJROTC myself, and I tried double time with an M14 scraped my arm twice, i thought it was funny..

  • lol yea im in ROTC im just useing a practice rifle it weights 6.5lb but i wount the compitition one it weights 15lb :) but yea i can do a 1h spin called eclipse its a super high left hand spin

  • wow...

    M1's ---9lbs

    M14----9.5lbs

    Daisy--8.76lbs

    Drill America M1's- 8.5lbs

shut the hell up saying your rifle weighs 15 pounds...

  • it dose its not for drill team though. are dill team rilfe is 10lb

  • you sir fail lol yes those rifles are ment for spinning (drill team, color guard so on so fourth) couse i know for god damn sure there not for active duty show my active duty men with issued M!s...and if you do find one i lauph in pitty at them but any who yes it is possible and its not hard and there not heavy there only heavy if your a pussy....

cdt/ tech sarg O'Neil CA-951 ARMED DRILL TEAM

  • Okay, cadet, I couldn't comprehend half of what the fuck you just said.

  • try that sith a real gun and tell me how many times you hit your self with it

  • now do that with a 10 pound m14

  • wow..very mature, lemme guess high schoolers right? & you probably don't even own a gun, just play with your daddy's? & you refer to this as pussy colorguard?? i'm going to guess that you've probably never had the guts to go out there and try this yourselves out of fear of being ridiculed for doing something you love, which we deal with everyday...which would actually make you the pussy ironically. this is an art, it's not meant to be understood by close-minded ignorant people like yourselves.

  • Pussy colorguard? Have u even ever tried to spin a stick? This is pretty difficult even taking in consideration the light weight.

  • Fuck this. This is pussy colorguard. Giving people the wrong ideas about the REAL color guard. you know, where they use real guns and flags? Fucking pansies, get this shit out of here. All of you who do this are probally girls or flaming homos anyways.

  • lol I'm so glad you're impressed. And actually I can throw it and catch it, as seen in my other videos. And don't worry, I'm sure if you practice real hard you could do it with your fancy killing machine and impress me too. Let me know how it goes! ;-)

  • @DncnJDub i can spin a 10 with the real rifle hahaha im badass

  • @Darkandia too bad you probably cant dance either..

  • It is REALLY hard to do that

Try it and then tell me it's easy

    Awesome job!

  • not that impressive? im pretty sure that youve never attempted to get your fat lazy ass off of the couch to even go out and do anything. so before you start talking like you know shit. get your shit straight.

  • Okay spinning with a color guard rifle is NOT that impressive its only like 4 pounds

  • ten ten ten!

we do that exercise in my guard

    haha

    very nice

    :]

  • where can i get a practice rifle to pratice that kidna stuff?

  • omg very impressive. never seen

    anyone spin so fast.

& i liked the fact u had ur shirt

    off lol

    extra kudos

  • HOW DO YOU DO THAT...

    you have to show me!

  • Great job. you have a good talent and you are having fun. that is what guard is about.

  • that was awesome.!!

  • Nice work...and chest. :)

  • i think i need private lesson with you

  • Phantran2,

You, sir, are an idiot. Firstly, no weapon weighs 13 pounds. That's silly. Secondly, if you're attempting to compare the two, you should know that color guard is much more well developed and refined. It is a performing art which YOU could not begin to attempt. Coming from someone who drills AND marches drum corps (not color guard but hornline).

  • thank u!!!! my a hornline person that understands guard i love u

  • I have nothing but the utmost respect for what guards around the country do. It's INCREDIBLE to watch it develop from an outsider's perspective. I just hope you know not all military exhibition drillers feel the same way that Phantran2 does. That attitude is not healthy or cool in any way. Keep rockin' it!

  • thank you..... ur awesome

  • nice double time... but just make suer you don't dip your shoulder when you spin on that side. Also can you do the left as good as the right?

  • cute, hot, etc
