@AustinP228 It would really depend on the deck shape, weight of the person, concave/camber, and the distance between trucks. Baltic is pretty strong stuff. Even with the poor shape, this board could handle my 170ish if I jumped on it from the center. It failed when I put pressure before and after the trucks, due to inadequate material. Fiber glass would have stiffened/strengthened the board, and possibly kept it from breaking.
@123tam000 It really depends on the shape/feel that you are going for. I had plenty of concave in the board, but the side cutouts caused the board to flex a lot. I'm sure if I used 4 plys of 1/8" instead of 2 plys of 1/4" the flex would have been greater, and the extra glue would have added greater resistance to breakage. Ultimately when the board broke, it was just behind the trucks due to the shape of the wheel cutouts.
nice deck man. looks good nice flex perhaps a mean carving deck in the making. i remember my first deck tried to pump onto the curb and it snapped where the back truck was bolted koz i got stingey with the fibreglass lolz
awesome! i was stoked when i made my first board but then i hit a tiny bump and the nose snapped off along with the front truck so it dragged on the ground until it hit another bump and kinda pole vaulted me off. dont know how to explain it. :)
Thanks, the sad thing was that it snapped near one of the ends while I was trying to do a shov-it. I cut it down, and it made a fun, fairly sketchy slalom. Right now I'm working on making another
board; it is going to look a like a kamodo with the raised nose and tail of the dancer, except it won't be a platypus.
sweet board dude. I just finished mine. Will be uploading video of process in a few days.

I was wondering with the 2 pieces of baltic 1/4 inch if you really jumped on it what would happen. Also what about some fiber glass on the bottem.

Sick deck, man, looks like it has some good flex to it, too.
