  • Put fire into your talk or put your talk into the fire. I am sure you have good information but, you are putting your people to sleep. Sorry.

  • no info get rid of part 1 n just make part 2 about How To Design a Home Solar System

  • What a windbag!

    Get to the point.

  • What happened??? I fell asleep

  • Just like regenerative braking energy in hybrid cars ?

  • Yes, this is a good practical way to store solar energy or even store cheap off peak power. A system of pulleys and weigts like tis ha been used for hundreds of years to rotate lights in light houses, and it could easily be adopted to use with solar and renewable energy systems in houses and buildings either scaled up or scaled down in size to suit the application.

  • I just did a google search of "elevator return energy" and found that modern elevator systems in tall buildings do have special drive mechanisms that generate return energy when the elevator is going down. Thus, the technology for storing residential solar energy is already available.

  • Here is a way that a residential house could effectively store solar energy during the five hours of good sunshine, to last for the full twenty-four hours. Use a hydraulic elevator system lifting a very heavy weight, where the energy is stored by the gravity of the weight. When the sun goes down,or when more power is needed during the five hours of good sunshine, the very heavy weight movement is reversed and the hydraulics is used to generate power.

  • If the heavy weight was a tank of water that could be emptied into another static tank at the top of the travel then it could be run by gravity through a small water turbine to produce electricity or rotatinal energy as required and it coul be stored for long for long periods to cover rainy days or occasional loadsd. The hydraulic lift principle has a huge leverage advantage just like a hydraulic car hoist or a multiple pulley system

  • @diamondsmajestic1 They do it with dams, pumping the water up at night when the pwer isnt peak/required.

  • this video is very good for beginners.. great drop.. i await more from you.. :)

  • hey.. are u still alive dude? im still waiting..

  • diamondsmajestic1 ya so you like to listen to your self talk....nice.... not everyone shares that desire.......

  • i'm still waiting for part 2... how do you actually construct one? what are the components needed?

  • Dear Wandulu, it takes more than 10 MINUTES to properly design a home solar system, and this video is Part 1 in a series. Everybody's situation will be different and this video covers initial points to be considered.

  • thenks for your polite response but then you should change the tittle of the video, if you see on youtube most of videos with that tittle are showing graphics, cables and methods, your tittle therefold should be: Considerations before making a solar panel! so you dont take time from others. just a recomendation. thanks

  • OMG I Waited almost Ten minutes and this man didnt Show nothing of how to do it!.. most than half of the video is useless, change the tittle then man.
