they need to bring this show back, (don't really care what network it goes to) bring back the Original Theme song and return it to the feel of season 1, Chance, Guerrero and Winston are there own bosses again while Ames and Illsa are recurring characters that come around every once in awhile
I dont get why they changed the Introtheme either... I mean new Season or not they got a price for that Intro. It was pretty awsome and pretty unique if you compare it to all those other actionshows out there.
You ever had a favourite place where you like to eat, only to be demolished to put some stupid building.... That's how I felt when I first heard the new theme.... Give me back my show, you jerks! ;(
Ok - I understand they couldn't afford an orchestra anymore. makes me sad, but I can deal. What I can't deal with is the changed theme. There was. NO. reason. At all. The theme is... the fuckin theme man.
(I also just wanna add I wouldn't even care if they just kept reusing the music they had from Season 1. The new stuff is just... awful.)
@SailorChaos The reason composer Bear McCreary left Human Target is not because of the cost, it is because new show runner Matt Miller (Chuck) decided it was best for Human Target to change it's musical style to something more Chuck like which is why composer Tim Jones (Chuck) was brought on. And for the record Bear McCreary was nominated for an Emmy for his work on season one of Human Target.
When watching season 1 and the season 1 finally, the theme made sense it was thins ling line of protectors names Christopher Chance. Now with season 2 how they're under new management, the new theme makes sense. They've upgraded the office and everything. Why not upgrade the theme. I like both themes
The Old one sounded cinematic and epic...like something from Jerry Goldsmith or John Williams, while the new one feels generic and the score ends up hurting.
I understand why the new producer changed the theme song (though I don't agree with it), but that doesn't mean it has to be UGLY. And what they did with the new theme was UGLY. Not to mention, they totally forgot any story line from season one. And those were great stories. I like the female characters, but I hope they don't ruin it. I want HT to maintain the Bondsey/spy feel with desperation - not just guns for hire.
Getting rid of Bear McCreary wasn't the only mistake for this season, adding those two chicks is also a big mistake, they will add nothing to the show....Ah fuck it, I've allready given up on this series...the only thing that's left are the good memories of season 1.
Bear's original theme can get stuck in your head. It's intricate and classy. Will this season 2 theme have the same effect? Not in the slightest; Instantly forgettable and shallow.
The generic and bland score music spoilt what was otherwise an entertaining episode, if you could get past some of the clunky dialogue given to Mark Valley. The interplay between characters was good but I fear that the series will disappear if the ratings dont improve from last week.
The guy who does the music for the show is terrible. The only good thing he has ever done was the origional theme music other than that, the music always has bad timing or its just bad in general, they really should fire that guy
Could not agree with you more! The Season 2 theme is absolutely horrible. Fox needs to take your lead and reinstate the original theme beginning with next week's episode. Thanks for posting this.

The petition needs thousands more signatures, that is a very low total, very disappointing.

Would have been epic if we got to hear the Season 1 finale version of Human Target's intro for all the episodes in Season 2!
KillaC972 1 year ago
The second season theme consists of a guy playing the key Human Target notes while another guy throws random instruments against the wall.
It's slightly more bearable with repeated listenings, at least the first part before the pace speeds up and it becomes a jumbled mess.

And for the record, the new producers for HT: season 2 decided to let Bear McCreary go, hence the new title music. and yes, it sucks.

@tuzanoore That's a shame. Human Target's loss is Walking Dead's gain though. The music he's been doing for that has been gooood.
