Watching this video really made me want to learn to yodel! But every now and again you were taking quick 'inside breathes' from your throat like at 0:27 and 1:03 and 1:05 but especially 2:24. Get what I mean? Does yodeling effect your breathing slightly in some way?

I'm a classical church chorister and am trying to learn to Yodel. Just beginning but one thing is holding me back. Will this change my voice or the way I sing classical music if I try to learn to yodel?

@xXxMusicalWondersxXx Learning to yodel helps to define your registers. Unless you're a countertenor, it's likely you're not using your falsetto at all in your church choir singing. I've found that defining and expanding my chest, falsetto and headvoice (part fold) registers has greatly helped me to achieve a smooth passagio (transition from chest to head). You may feel like a dodgy voice breaking teenager to start with, but it's well worth it! Thine a warbling, Mal
