It's insane how good Brightman looks for her age. I didn't think this was her best piece in the movie, I felt it lacked emotion. Still, it's good, but I honestly preferred Chase The Morning. Though the visuals in this scene were strikingly good.

To start things off. I watched the entirety of this epic fail opera and I must say. This was probably one of the worst songs in it alongside Mark it Up and the overly popular yet pathetic Luigi Largo Coffee Scene. The only parts to this I found remotely entertaining were Let the Monster Rise, Zydrate Anatomy, and 21st Century cure. Other than that I personally found Blind Mag to be the character I liked the least of all of them. She's the only legit opera singer the rest is a fucking musical.
@a7xpwns666 Technically, the definition of an opera is a dramatic story told using music. While the general population may only associate opera with baroque style music, that's not actually a requirement of the genre, and operas can be written with any music the composer likes. I totally respect if Repo isn't your thing, it's really not for everyone, but saying it's a musical and not an opera isn't really a criticism of it, especially since the two mean pretty much the same thing.

@JQ377 well, to delve deeper into that explanation, this movie is about a corporation that experts in organ transplants. They own organs that can genetically match their patients and then use them for the patient. The patient must then pay for their organ on a monthly basis i believe, almost like a rent, but if the patient fails to pay for their organ, the corporation, also known as "GeneCo", sends out a "Repo Man" to repossess the organ.
well considering that Sarah is a professional opera singer yeah Any wouldn't be able to keep up. Don't get me wrong I love Amy and she has an amazing voice it would just be hard for her to sing with Sarah her voice is too complex.
@yuffie2626 The worst part is it wasn't needed. She thought the repo man was going to come and take the eyes from her, so she destroyed them to spite GeneCo. What she didn't know, however, was that the repo man refused to do the job, so she was safe. And, worst of all, if she hadn't done that, Shilo may have trusted her father (since she thought he killed her and took her eyes).
Sarah was amazing in that, but man, when you see one of your favorite music artists die on screen, it's tough to bear... the guy with the sword better not meet me in some alley hehe.

@RedDeadRedemptioner apperently my good sir, you have no taste in music. i will admit glee is okay, but sarah brightman trained for years to make her voive sound this amazing, the KIDS from glee have little training and experience so i hardly see how musically correct you are when you say children with mediocre voices could be better than sarah brightman's beautiful operatic voice.Did you even watch the movie? are you even a gore fan? if not you have no bisnuess watching let alone flaming Repo!

@JQ377 well, to delve deeper into that explanation, this movie is about a corporation that experts in organ transplants. They own organs that can genetically match their patients and then use them for the patient. The patient must then pay for their organ on a monthly basis i believe, almost like a rent, but if the patient fails to pay for their organ, the corporation, also known as "GeneCo", sends out a "Repo Man" to repossess the organ.

well considering that Sarah is a professional opera singer yeah Any wouldn't be able to keep up. Don't get me wrong I love Amy and she has an amazing voice it would just be hard for her to sing with Sarah her voice is too complex.

@yuffie2626 The worst part is it wasn't needed. She thought the repo man was going to come and take the eyes from her, so she destroyed them to spite GeneCo. What she didn't know, however, was that the repo man refused to do the job, so she was safe. And, worst of all, if she hadn't done that, Shilo may have trusted her father (since she thought he killed her and took her eyes).
