I am 23, my mother is Jewish, father not. I was not raised religious, at 16 became more observant. At 18 I learned in a full time yeshiva (school of higher jewish learning) until 20. After studying this amount of time, I am 100% convinced that the torah, and the torah observant style of Judaism is legitimate. One book I recommend in terms of searching out which religion is best for you is the Kuzari. The Kuzari will give you a perspective of all three religions.
The first Ecumenical Council in 325 AD, was the start of Roman Catholicism. Roman Catholicism is a military system of propaganda, that named the Roman Paganism into Christian names, and installed Sunday worship. Every sunday worshipper is a Roman Catholic. This is created by Counter Reformation since the Council of Trent that ended in 1565.
So this is an introduction into the Romanist propaganda called Cristianity.
Unfortunately, if you recognize the Christian Scriptures as "Devinely Inspired" you are still part of that "Roman Propaganda. You have to look at the whole of history of both Eastern and Western thought to get a "Real" perspective. You partically correct, but we have to understand that ALL (language, Worldview, and even Scriptures) are suspect until we look at original documents.
No, Sunday worship is in the New Testament. They gathered on the first day of the week because that was the day that Christ rose from the dead. That is not to say that Sunday is the Sabbath, but Sunday gatherings where happening well before the 4th century.
@Bishop, It could also be translated "on the first of the Sabbaths weeks having been been us assembled to break bread"! It was probably on Saturday evening after Paul had been preaching on the Sabbath! Jews today will continue fellowship into the first day of the week & bring food & continue discourse! This is what probably actually happened! The text in no way gives any sanctification to the first day or says they were meeting regularly on the first day! Jews today break bread on the first day!
Shalom ! Thank you for posting this series. Im looking forward to watching and listening.I dont think your experience about the "faith only"slant in biblical collage is unique. From what i ve read that is the party line, or at lest use to be.
Yes, I grew up in cog7 and other cog branches. I view the cog7 site. It was their ministers and my Sabbath School teachers that fostered me / us to think.
The diety of Jesus was something that caused a commotion in the cog7 just a few years ago. I'm not sure where they ended up on that one. Other cog branches reject it. I've sent this message on to both cog7 people and other cog people that remain believers in the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.
This is the answer to my prayers. I have longed to learn what really went on. Many christians have touched on this, but they, like me, grew up christian and so have pagan influence in their foundation, no matter how much they shun the thought of it. We need a jew to show us who Yeshua is and the way that he taught his followers before it was so victimized by pagan vulgar spiritual adultry with other gods. The very first commandment. (Exedus 20 is a whole lot more than just phrases on a plaque.)
Well, you wanted "Meat"! No milk for you any longer. Ultimately you have to decide what to believe. No person can Teach YOU to believe, you have to believe based on the evidence. Peace.
Some of my best friends are cool ass Jews, that's why I am very aware of how their culture is, plus my pastor loves the Jewish people and visits Israel all the time. My one Jewish friend never shuts up about Jewish conspiracies and historical past. I came to realize that it is easy to blame problems on others just because there is one. I am Irish but I do not give a damn about the English suppression for all them centuries... Ireland is in bad shape now but they came a long way. Peace
It was very sad for me to hear what some of the Christian children did to you at school. As a Christian I always had the view that Christ was crucified as a fulfilment of prophecy for the iniquities of mankind. My view of those who wanted him crucified was simply representative of the nature of all mankind and not some incentive to hate and abuse a particular race of people.
ok ya you have my gear's rolling now. i look forward to watching. oh i know this is old news but... im so sorry to hear what happened to ya. no human being deserves such treatment.
It is just an overview. It will be up to you to research further. I am trying to get a person who wants to understand more than the Christian Scriptures, ask How they got there and why. Peace.
I've been searching for unbiased info on this time period. thanks.

This is all so very interesting. Thank you for posting.
Bullying is horrible. I still have scars on my face from it. I'm handicapped -- how could they smash me up? So cruel.
Wow, if what we can see exists, that means there are UFOs and ghosts. I've seen them, with other people witnessing them.
Again, good series.

" UFOs and ghosts. I've seen them"
Agreed Ive seen UFO's and (Aliens) whatever we are going to call them?
The ghosts I saw where more like shadow creatures, So this is a truth we must consider also.
