1: DO NOT GO TO A TOY STORE (Wal-Mart, Toys R Us... etc) stores like that.

2: Go to a skateboard shop.

3: Ask whoever is there for help. they usually know about skateboard and stuff like that.

4: Have fun.

If you want to learn how to skate, you need to get a decent board. You cannot learn to skate on a department store board. Believe me, I tried. My first board cost around $90 and my current board was about $130.

@MrSegmento 1. what kind of bearings u got? if its like bones swiss than of course ur going fast and smooth ... if u wanna go slower just get cheaper bearings that range from 15 - 25 $ ... 2. your wheels are pretty good. It also makes it a smooth ride :). bushings dont control ur speed, they control your carving.. to carve more loosen the but on ur kingpin .. to carve less tighten it :)
