This e-mail just came into the radio station here is Sequim and they forwarded it on to me. I really had to laugh!

I listen to you both most Fridays when I am home. Just heard you playing “You Belong in Sequim” and thought that you would like to know that I was recently in Toronto and heard “You Belong in Sequim” when shopping in a Home Depot store. I’ll bet that I was the only one in the store that knew where Sequim is, made me feel like I was at home.

@flutterbysmom he wasn't from Sequim though, he liked the area and gave them the land for the marina. I know a Sequim resident won the gold medal at the Olympics in the 80's for shooting...maybe he's the local celebrity?

The words had to be modified this year because our rival PA (Port Angeles) had a 6-0 football season until they played us. So when Rachel sings it live these days she sings "but PA football we'll beat you again, and beat them we did 41-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great video, love the words. Been here in Sequim for 17 years and I can relate ROTFL... Very good Rachel, you have a great voice... I hate to plug the video but if anyone needs Custom Cabinets, Murphy beds or Granite counter tops come see Joe over at Tim's Custom Cabinets off Woodcock lol... Sorry I went to reply to your last comment and accidentally deleted it!!! Thanks for the kind words. She was actually sick when she sang this which makes it even more amazing. Lost her voice for a few days and still got this out!
