Nice vid ae :) Was wondering about gear options? I'm considering creepy/vita crafts & possibly nih rw boots. I'm kinda stuck on armor to use tho :S How much cb% does this druid have?
I want to make a hybrid bow/summon ! So I think that Leathdhiabhala bow is the best one for that purpose (couldn't find it yet). I'd have liked to see it in action :/
Anyway, very impressive ! I knew it was possible to do duncraig with this char (in p1 or p8?).
@Sinounet p1, cb has big impact here, it would be much harder on higher players (note that druid has easiest 100% cb of all chars and it doesn't scale well with players).
@ae1337 Which means he is still a bit weker than some other char =/ And with the bow Leathdhiabhala or the one with cataclysm on kill and force of nature, wouldn't he be stronger ?
@Sinounet well ofc he is not strongest build, but it isn't worst as well. Elemental procs are either for freeze (not in dunc) or eyecandy. Cataclysm bow has quite low damage, it worked but was worse.
@ae1337 Are you sure about that ? The ice lance proc is high level and if you combine it with force of nature, it must be more than eye candy. Ofc, you can't use domm my with ele procs, maybe that's why you think they're weak =/
@Sinounet It pierces so it has nd. There is limited amount of these procs that can deal damage, more will not hit due to next delay. And freeze ability has no use in duncraig, as they are immune to it. Also ice lance is not really heavy damage dealer, weapon damage procs such as arrow, are much stronger.
@Sinounet fact that skill has nd, doesn't mean it is automatically useless.. it is just mechanics to prevent it from hitting multiple times. If you have ice bolt (ice lance), it goes through monster. D2 displays everythign at 25 frames rate, so if it had no nd, this piercing missile would hit every frame. Think about how many frames of animation this bolt goes though big monster? Answer is - many, so it would deal for example 20x listed damage, each frame = new hit. It is for balance.
