They are a continuation in a sense, but a split as well.. Elements of the tradition are not the same. At some time there even existed some sort of heretic pope in Bosnia. Hmm...Religious group we call cathars were not some mystical people who had some great knowledge hidden from the rest of us. Their religion was I think very similar to manicheism which is a fusion between persian zoroastrianism (or whatever) and chrisianity. @artistickone I got news for you, catholic church lies big time. almost none of what they say is true. cathars were christian orthodoxy who were originally jews. pharasis were not real jews, they were persians who pretended to be jews & came back to build second temple. neither 1st nore 2nd temple was worship of true God of Abraham or Moses or their laws. is it becoming clearer now? neither human nor animal sacrifice is good. some demons are becoming good & some angels evil.
