The part where the cat tries to fight the dog reminds me of the scene from the Bashful Buzzard in which Beaky tries to fight the dragon the voice and everything, knowing John K this was probably intentional.

You can tell JOHN K had a part in this cartoon look at the way they are drawn and the wacky expressions.I do remember watching this saturday mornings and then later finding out that JOHN K of REN&STIMPY had a big part in this cartoon.

John K was notorious for homosexual overtones in some of his cartoons. Just look at "Ice Goose Cometh" and Ren and Stimpy.
