  • The Jets are the best UK rock 'n' roll band ever! I have been very fortune to see them regularly over the years since the early 80's, I saw them twice last month, once in their Kings Of Harmony show and also at their gig in Bristol...both were fantastic!!! Bob, Ray & Tony are friends and the nicest guys, they "Ain't nothin' but Fine, Fine, Fine".....

  • originally backing group for shakin steven's .........great that they set up on there own,all cover version's but still unique to the jet's

  • @h6425

??? I've seen the Jets (previously "Brad", from Northampton) play many many times since 80s & no link with Shaky ever mentioned. Similarly I saw Shaky in the 70s (before his awfull TOTP days) & he'd been playing with his band the Sunsets (all from Wales) for many years b4 the Jets were playing. Dont recall Jets mentioned in his biography either. Yes they may have shared a stage/set in the 80s revival as Shaky had ditched the Sunsets & real rockabilly by then but that was all.

  • @h6425

they played support for shaky in 81 i think , is that what you mean ? shakin stevens original band was the sunsets

  • @h6425

They were not Shakies backing band, however they may have done for a couple of gigs. This band formed independently, and have always been independent.

  • This is true music, screw all this other heavy metal bullcrap. screw the media too. GRR

  • I agree my sister's ex boyfriend's brother is in a heavy metal group and he is what they call an emo or something (never really understand what its all about anyway). But to cut to the chase, the music is truly dreadful, its just a noise, its all about an image, the music that they do is depressing too. Im 27 but I would take this music over that any day.

  • first album i bought 100% cotton pure class!

  • Saw them at the Ace cafe last saturday still a great band!

  • I agree, rockabilly at its best.

  • Saw these guys live many times in the 80's and were brilliant...thanks for great memories!!

  • rockin

  • love it

  • what's with the awfully amateurish dancers edited into the performance ?

Is this taken from some late night TV programme needing 'adult' appeal (hence the scantily clad dancers) for this hit song ?

Great song though- recall it first time around ...weren't these guys on Jim'll Fix It at some stage ?

  • Ya muppett.... its from Top Of The Pops and I reckon the dancers were Pans Peiople(or p'haps one of their later daliences)

  • "Ya muppett.... its from Top Of The Pops and I reckon the dancers were Pans Peiople(or p'haps one of their later daliences)"

No way are they pans people! or the later dancers from Top Of The Pops ,that is bad timing which they never done!

  • nice one

  • Superb... 32deuce
