United States Navy Band: Québec City International Festival of Military Bands

Sorry to say folks...If this is truly THE NAVY BAND which holds to a far higher standard than any other Navy Band..I am a bit disappointed in the fact this band has intonation issues particularly in the woodwind section and other areas as well. Where are the white haired guys in the NAVY BANDS who played with near perfect intonation from days past.? I hate to say it, I have heard many quality high school bands sound as good. For contrast, check out the SALVATION ARMY Band, New York City!

i wanna join US NAVY BAND , im only 16 years old but im a member of a band in philippines i play trumpet im in 2nd chair but im not good , my problem is im not a US citizen :( help me guys i wanna join US navy band after high school , :( im here in Waukegan illinois help :(

To jr7rockets: Work hard on your instrument and follow through on your goal. "how do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice" My son enlisted in the Army with the condition that he could audition with his his french horn for an Army band. He was accepted and it got him to tour Europe with the U.S. Army band of Europe. Good Luck.

im a senior in high school and i play trumpet im 4th chair in the symphonic band and i want to join the navy after high school and i was really wondering how do you get in to the us navy band i dont hear anyone talk about it much please help
